Q: 1. Will this fit on any Logan board?

A: This unit works on my Logan 301-1 Compact Classic Mat Cutter. It cuts straight and true, but recommend making several draws of the blade rather than trying to make the cut in a single stroke. If the blade bits too hard and binds it will pull the mat out of alinement. Also make several practice cut so as to learn where to place the line you wish to follow. The line should be very close to the guide but it is not precisely next to the guide (1/32 out from the guide).

Q: 2. What metal is this product made with?

A: It is made of aluminum.

Q: 3. Are additional track spacers available for purchase?

A: Glide Gear does not offer additional track spacers for the Glide Gear Straight Track with Carry Bag (12') at this time.

Q: 4. Is this strong enough to use with a doorway dolly?

A: What doorway dolly? This track is designed for use with the same manufacturer's Glide Gear SYL-960 Floor/Track Hybrid Tripod Dolly. That dolly has a rated capacity of 35 lbs. If you mean something like a Matthews Round-D-Round Doorway Dolly, that one has a capacity of 1100 lbs. So I would say no. Also keep in mind, doorway dollies cannot directly ride on these rails without skates.

Q: 5. Does this fit on broncolor d move 1200? if not... with one is good?

A: Yes. This will fit on the MobiLED head used with the move 1200L power pack, along with any lamphead or monolight compatible with the broncolor bayonet mount.

Q: 6. Will this bracket provide enough clearance to be used with Leica M's?

A: Just an update: This is NOT compatible with Leica M's. FInd something longer.

Q: 7. Can I mount both a camcorder (Sony HDR-CX455) and the Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone to a tripod, using this bracket ?

A: Yes. The Sony is 4.8 wide and the bracket is adjustable to accommodate that camera width and fit the Rode microphone with the deadcat wind muffler and still have some room for adjustment.

Q: 8. Is it not cheaper to buy the wire and bracket separately?

A: Each product in the Vello QuickDraw / Straight Bracket & TTL Cord Kit, adds up to the same cost when purchased separately or in the kit.

A: Hi Joe. Yes this will attach to a tripod. The version I purchased does not have a cold shoe attached there is only a screw. This screw then attaches to your camera and the tripod mount is then screwed into the bottom of that screw. The screw which moves attaches to, in my case, a motion/lightning sensor. Ken
