Q: 1. is this plate fit Manfrotto 234 RC head for the monopod? is any one try one?

A: No. The Manfrotto 234 RC uses the Manfrotto 200PL plate. See B&H # MA200PL.This Black Rapid plate is the Arca-Swiss type.

Q: 2. How far does the near object has to be from the lens, compared to a +1 diopter ?

A: When the base lens is focused at infinity, the object will be at the focal length of the diopter attachment. For the Lindsey Optics 4 x 5.65" +3 Diopter Brilliant² 50% Rota-Split Close-Up Lens that is 333mm. For the +1 it is 1 Meter. When the base lens focus is changed to shorter distances, the object distance decreases.

Q: 3. The one I got seems to be the same basic part with some differences. The one in the photo says made in Germany and has threaded holes in the side (I'm not sure what that's for) and mine doesn't say where it's made and has the typical small threaded Safety stop screw holes ...(was just interrupted for the obligatory robot check) ... which it didn't come with. So my questions are was mine made in Germany and was it supposed to come with the safety screws?

A: The currents FLM QRP-50 Quick Release Plate only have the brand, model and serial number engraved on the buttom of the plate. The threads on each side of the plate connected to a product that have been discontinued. FLM use to make an antitwist bar called FLM QRP-Stop.

Q: 4. Will this plate work with the Manfrotto 494 Ball Head on the Befree Advanced tripod? Thanks in advance! https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1367494-REG/manfrotto_mkbfrla4bk_bhus_befree_advanced_travel_tripod.html

A: BlackRapid plates are Arca-Swiss compatible, so as long as the tripod is Arca-Swiss compatible also, it should work fine.

Q: 5. Are any of the holes on the plate threaded?

A: None of the holes on the Kupo Twist-Lock Mounting Plate for Two T12 Lamps BH #KUKG402012 are threaded.

Q: 6. I have a Induro BHD0 Ballhead. Which size plate works for it? the 50 or the 70?

A: I agree that they both will work and one is just longer than the other. If you are using a big lens where the lens will mount on the ballhead instead of the camera then get the longer one.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the Sirui K-20x ball head? If not, do you know of anything that is? Thanks

A: Most arca type quick release systems should work with our tripod plates, so please let us know if this was a successful coupling for you!

Q: 8. Is this Arca Swiss compatible? Will L brackets from KIRK or RRS lock onto base?

A: There are two parts to your question that was submitted on the product page of the FLM QRP-50 Quick Release Plate (B&H# FLCP50). First, you asked if the FLM QRP-50 Quick Release Plate (B&H# FLCP50) is Arca Swiss-compatible. Our response to that is that yes, it is, and so it will fit in most Arca-compatible quick release clamps. Second, you asked if L brackets from Kirk and Really Right Stuff (subsequently referred to as "RRS") lock into the base. . . of something -- presumably of the FLM QRP-50 Quick Release Plate (B&H# FLCP50). No, they do not as this is a plate and not a clamp. However, as of July 2021, all L brackets made by Kirk or RRS that we currently sell follow the Arca standard and thus fit into most Arca-compatible quick release clamps. As such, if you were asking if those will fit into an Arca-compatible clamp then the answer is that they are indeed designed to do so. (There is some variance among manufacturers, however, so not every plate and clamp combination will always work even if they both claim Arca-compatibility.) If you would also like us to recommend a clamp, please contact us by email, chat, or phone and tell us what the clamp will itself be attached to -- such as to a specific of make and model of tripod head.

Q: 9. Compatible with RRS BH-55 ballhead and/or RRS Monopod Head? MH-01

A: Yes. The RRS BH-55 ballhead accepts optional arca-Type third party plates.

Q: 10. Will this hold Nanlite Pavotube II 30X?

A: Yes, the Kupo Twist-Lock Mounting Plate for Two lamps will support most led tubes on the market.
