A: Pretty solid. There's a second push-in release button that only allows the plate to slip off after the main nob is released.

A: Yes, this quick release system will attach to the Revo SR-1500 just fine.

Q: 3. Will the QRA-501L fit the Manfrotto ball head on a 055xB tripod. And does the assembly come as bottom tripod plate and a quick connection to camera or accessory? I need more stable platform to hold 22#.

A: What you see is what you get. There is a bottom plate with screw holes to accommodate any tripod quick release plate. Then the QRA-501L's own quick release plate that you attach to the bottom of the camera slips right into bottom plate. Once mounted, be sure to clamp the plate with the ratcheted lever. If the lever is blocked by the camera body and cannot tighten, pull the lever out and move it into a good position, push in and then tighten. Do this as much as needed, usually no more than 1-2 twists.

Q: 4. would i be able to mount this to mefoto ball head?

A: From the pictures it looks like yes. There looks to be a 3/8 screw hole in the bottom that would allow you to mount it to a ball head system. I don't own this product but I have one similar from manfrotto that will mount to the ball head 3/8 .

A: Yes, but you'll need to swap screws on the 700rc2 plate. I believe the axler comes with a spare. I own a few they work great, just gotta be careful with placement as the tighten knob cuts a little close for comfort.

A: While this Quick-Release Assembly will connect to the ProAa USA Autopilot Stabilizer we recommend smaller options because of the stabilizer's size. The Manfrotto 394 Low Profile Quick Release Adapter with 410PL Plate would be a better fit on the ProAm Stabilizer.
