The Rotolight RL48 Interview Kit V2 centers on two portable LED ring lights that you can mount in various setups around your subject. Two included stands enable mounting on shoe adapters and on 1/4" studs. Using one stand, you can attach one light on your camera's shoe mount and the other on a tripod, lighting stand, pole or other compatible support accessory. The lights also slide right onto most shotgun mics.

Each light features 48 grade-A LED bulbs and delivers an 80W equivalent intensity in a 110° beam angle. You can get the lights as close to your subject as 1.5". Color temperature is fixed at 5600K daylight, and using included filters you can adjust the temperature to 6300K, 4100K and 3200K. You also get filters for diffusion, color and cosmetic effects, and for dimming brightness over a range of 1.5 aperture stops. The filters insert into holders inside the lights. In all you get 24 LEE filters, two packs of 7 that come with each light, and a pack of 10 included with the kit. The lights each power by three optional AA batteries for up to four continuous hours.

The kit also includes a belt-pouch designed with compartments and pockets to hold both lights, 6 batteries, one stand and a smart-phone.

A: Unfortunately, the kit seems to have the wrong description on our site and we thank you for pointing this out to us. As per Ikans website, kit number IBK23150-v3 would include 2x iLED312 V2 units and 1x IB508-v2 unit. We will put in a request to have the description updated on our site. Q: 4. If this is supposedly a "flash" then why don't they publish the flash duration specs? What is the flash duration? What kind of motion blur could it possibly freeze?

A: The flash mode on the NEO 2 is not a true flash, as it doesn't offer a specific flash duration. What it is capable of it wireless high speed sync up to 1/8000 of a sec with an Elinchrom Skyport HS transmitter, which is camera-dependent.

Q: 5. Will this work with the Anova Pro 3?

A: The Rotolight Softbox Kit for Anova V1 / V2 / Pro / Pro 2 is not compatible with the Anova Pro 3.

Q: 6. I have a question about the Photo metrics. What is the lux output levels of these lights at full power?

A: At a distance of 3 feet, the IB508-v2 hits 2186 lux at 3200K and 2130 lux at 5600K. The iLED312-v2 reads 716 lux at 3200K and 723 lux at 5600K at 3 feet.

Q: 7. Will this work with my Elinchrom triggers bought with the two light kits Elinchrom D-Lite RX 4 ?

Q: 8. Can you use a Bowen’s mount light modifier with these lights?

A: Unfortunately, Bowens S type modifiers are not compatible with this kit.

Q: 9. Do these lights come with the remote to dial up and down their power? Also do the light have tilt capability in the connection that goes on the stand?

A: These lights do not include any wireless remotes like our IFB or IFD lights, however local dimming and color temperature control is on the back of each light with a rotary knob and a LCD display.The IB508-V2 includes an adjustable light stand adapter which allows for tilt and each iLED312-v2 includes a ball head. All 3 lights can be tilted when using the stands and mounting accessories included in the kit.

Q: 10. Will it run on continuous light and flash modes simultaneously ? That is to say can it flash at the high power and act as a modeling light between flashes ?
