Higher densities are more noticeable but still provide a pleasing portrait

Eliminates the potential "too sharp" look of modern cameras and lenses

For digital cameras with CMOS & CCD sensors with heightened response to the Red channel

Absorbs pollution of the Far Red (visible) and Near Infrared wavelengths

IR absorbing component is proportionate to the ND value

Ideal for lightweight or clip-on matte boxes

Made from water white glass

IRND+SFX will not ripple or distort when panning

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Looking at the questions above, it seems there are two answers to the question of using the camera dials to control the lens aperture on the adapter without the ring. Is there a definitive answer?

A: Supports electronic communication to enable image stabilization, autofocus, as well as auto exposure features. That means you can control the lens via the camera.

Q: 2. What is the height of this adapter? Can it be installed on a Fuji X-pro 3 without exceeding below? Cyrille

A: The Adapter is 3'' tall. The adapter will hang out from the bottom of an X-Pro 3 about 10mm.

Q: 3. Will this work with my Sony PMW500?

A: It should work. It comes with a DTap and SDI cable. You'll need a mount. Probably the Z-rail and the Zacuto mini mount would work. Check with Zacuto. Customer service there is excellent.

Q: 4. I noticed a red shift with ours. If you angle off axis it goes away. Not quite how I want to use it. Anyone witness this?

A: This would be a service issue. If you have had this less than 30 days, please contact B&H Customer Service to see about arranging an exchange or return. If you have had this longer than 30 days, please contact Zacuto. a href= http://www.zacuto.com/contact-zacuto target= _blank www.zacuto.com/contact-zacuto./a

Q: 5. Does it come with rack mount kit?

A: Yes it does!

Q: 6. Will this work for Dslr lenses?

A: This is a Wide Attachment Lens meant to go on to a camcorder with a lens built in already. It is not designed to work with DSLR cameras or the lenses they use and we do not recommend it.

Q: 7. Will this work effectively with a Fujifilm H2, and older autofocus Sigma Nikon mount lenses?

A: The Fringer NF-FX II Nikon F Lens to FUJIFILM X Camera Adapter is compatible with the FUJIFILM X-H2 Mirrorless Camera. On the adapter page it under compatibility it lists the specific lenses it can work with.

Q: 8. When to use the 'pre' switch on AUX1 and AUX2 in Yamaha MG20XU mixer for singing and what would be the effect please?

A: Nobody answered this for this poor fellow? Those "pre" buttons are to set the sends to PREFADER....in other words you can turn down the gain or volume on the output to main, but the full signal will still continue to the AUX bus.

Q: 9. What is the weight of the adapter itself? The specs only list the package weight.

A: The weight of Fringer NF-FX II Nikon F Lens to FUJIFILM X Camera Adapter is 180g or 6.3 ounces.

Q: 10. Does it support IBIS for XT5?

A: Yes, the Fringer NF-FX II supports the Fuji XT5's IBIS.
