The black SF8-CPT-JNC2 8" Poke-Thru with Cover and AC Set from FSR is a complete SmartFit fire rated floor box assembly. It includes an 8" floor fitting, 2 dual 20-amp pre-wired AC outlet sub plates, an EMT fitting adapter with 2 1" stubs, a cover assembly, and a junction box.

The SmartFit series features recessed mounting bracketry to accommodate a wide assortment of power, data and audio video connection options. The entire door cover swings open 180° and the two smaller cable access doors fold down for cable egress while the cover door is secure. The cover technology exceeds UL scrub water testing requirements.

Q: 1. There are two sides of adhesive - does it stick to the mat and mat board?

A: You apply these strips to a backing board with their adhesive tape -- for your purposes the adhesive tape is 1-sided, being already attached to the firm plastic strip.The adhesive doesn't cover the full width of the plastic strip; it leaves perhaps 1/5 of plastic free to act as a trap for the item being mounted. There is no adhesive in direct contact with the mounted item's surface.This is ideal for use on a backing board where glass and/or matting will keep the artwork from falling out of the strip's thin rim of plastic. It wouldn't work for a large paper item which lacked a glass in front -- the paper's weight would pull it out of plastic edges, I suspect. The role of this is to prevent artwork from shifting around after it matted and framed.Note that the adhesive holding the mounting strip is outside the dimensions of the artwork: the backing board needs to be around an inch wider than the artwork to have room for the strips.

Q: 4. Do you know if the 7 will hold a 24-70 f2.8 ? (mine is 4 in diameter with lens hood). The measurements are unclear as the inside diameter of the 7 one is 3.5 and 4 , but its a round case.

A: This should help. I just measured mine. The sleeve is 4 wide and 7 15/16 high. The 4 width has a little give because of the nature of the material. Their stated 7 height is incorrect. According to their height measurement you would have almost a full inch of free space, but, perhaps that unused space could be filled with a rag or extra padding to protect your lens. I am happy with these sleeves. They are well made, however, it still amazes me why they cost so much. I am hard to please and with that being said I recommend them.

Q: 5. Can I use this for two light switches that will sit on a desk?

A: Yes. The FSR DSKB-2G 2-Gang Desktop Mounting Box (Black) BH #FSDSKB2G is designed to accommodate 2 switches.

Q: 6. What colour are the tabs on these? I would like two silver tabbed ones, but there doesn't seem to be an option to choose.

A: The color tabs on theses PortaBrace Padded 4" and 7" Lens Cups (Set of Two), would not be set. We have a large inventory and you can get different colors, currently there is no way to choose the color tab you would want.

A: NO these will not fit the atlas anamorphic lenses

Q: 9. If I am recording 4k video on GH4 and wirelessly transmitting to Elvid 4K monitor, will I be able to use this transmitter/receiver set? Will I need to shoot lower quality video, or will the video seen on the monitor just be in 1080p? If I can shoot 4k video on this set up, will this work adequately when pulling focus for a 1st AC?

A: The FeiDu HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver Set does not support 4k video signals. We would recommend the Teradek Spark 4K Transmitter/Receiver Set for lag free 4k wireless video transmission up to 30p.

Q: 10. Can he break through the concrete barrier?

A: These are designed to work with line of sight availability. You may still get some signal through a concrete barrier, but we would not be able to accurately predict what that would be, nor is it something that we would recommend.
