The 350mm RC KC Active Extension Tube from Schoeps is a Colette Active Extension Tube that terminates in a connector mounted on a flexible, 1.64’ (0.5m) Colette cable. This connector is screwed onto the microphone amplifier, which can then be mounted on the vertical support rod with a clamp or inserted into the cable path at a hidden position.

This arrangement is most useful when working in close quarters, where inadvertent movement at the rear of the microphone stand can disturb the alignment, or where the microphone amplifier body and cable connector can be objectionable and when the arrangement is not frequently changed.

The cable length should not exceed what is necessary, in order to avoid possible interference. This problem can be avoided by using a similar setup with a CCM-L microphone (sold separately).

A: The Canon EF 25 II is not a teleconverter. It will not alter the focal length of a lens. It is a 25mm extension tube that will allow you to focus closer to the subject than otherwise possible with the lens.

A: There was no vignetting from my tests using the extension tube, 10-18mm lens and a 90D.

Q: 10. I have a 70D. Can this be stacked with EF 25 II extension tube and a Canon 100mm f2.8 L IS Macro lens without light any leakage?

A: I used it on my 60D with the same macro lens with no issues.

The only negative is that after locking it to the camera body and the lens is attached, there is a slight play which really doesn't affect the quality of the photo. Maybe this is normal when adding another link in between the lens and the body. 5

IT WORKS LIKE OTHER EXTENSION TUBE. IT'S JUST AIR BETWEEN THE SENSOR OF THE CAMERA AND THE LENS WHAT MAKES YOU FOCUS CLOSER. I JUST BOUGHT IT CAUSE I HAVE ALL CANON GEAR. BUT IT JUST WORK LIKE ANY OTHER EXTENSION TUBE THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR LESS THE MONEY. EXCELLENT FOR MACRO. SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO STACK 2 TUBES OR MORE. 5

very cheap comparing with buying a macro lens. combine it with a standard lens and you will have a macro lens. I use it with 24-70 f2.8L and I have great results. 5

I have two more canon tubes this size - one is over 12 years old, still working. My off brand tubes don’t connect well after a year or so. I am in an inner tube at times, that may be what messes up the cheaper ones. I found it less expensive to buy the Canon extension tubes in the long run, cause I only have to buy them once. 5

Extension tubes are a great alternative to costlier macro lenses and less expensive close-up lenses. If you are thinking about getting into macro photography or just don't have the need for a macro dedicated lens, then this may be a great product for you to try. I get full function from my Canon and Sigma EF, EF-S lenses. Build quality is excellent and product has a very solid feel. No flex noted between lens and camera body. The EF 12 II meets all my current macro demands. I do wish that the tubes were slightly less expensive (Canon or Kenko). They seem a bit overpriced for what they are - spacers between the lens and body. 5

This allows you to focus much closer without a dedicated macro lens. I am sure it not as good but on a budget it does the job. Auto focus works but the depth of field is very small making the part you want to be in focus a challenge, especially on a moving subject. It opens up an entire new world of photography though! 5

I bought this extension tube to allow closer focusing from my telephoto lenses and i could not be happier with the results. I haven't used it with my macro lens yet bt have used it with my 100-400 zoom and it did exactly what i needed it to; allow closer focusing at the 400mm end of the zoom. I would recommend this accessory to anyone. 5
