A: An external light meter wouldn't hurt the case, but you would be able to meter exposure through the camera as well.

A: The adapter would need to be purchased separately. Additionally this lens has no focusing mechanism so it requires an adapter with a helicoid such as the one linked below.I have read decent reviews of other brands that have released similar adapters but bought Voigtlander.
