$449.97 $580.46

Designed to provide a multitude of easily-combined effects at the tap of your toe, the MS-70CDR from Zoom is a stompbox sporting delay, chorus, reverb, and more. It features 86 custom effects, allowing you to combine six of them at once, and sports terminals that can handle the signals of guitars, basses—both active and passive—as well as line-level keyboards. Its LCD screen is designed to be visible in low-light situations.

Up to six effects can be instantiated in tandem, arranged in whatever order you desire. To store your custom-tailored effects, there are 50 on-board patch-memory slots. Furthermore, an Auto Save function will make sure that any edit you make to any preset you've created will, as the name suggests, be saved automatically.

You can cycle through 26 patches in any order you choose, thus satisfying your inevitable wish—if you've ever interfaced with a giant pedal board—to simply single-stomp your way through an entire set-list. If recording is on the agenda, the MS-70CDR offers dual line-output jacks, and thus, allows you to route the byzantine effects of your own creation in stereo. An on-board chromatic tuner and tap-tempo feature are also provided.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use this without the spreader?

A: Yes, this tripod can be used with out the spreader.

Q: 2. Has anyone used the Aktiv8 for long lens (500mm+) videography? at that focal length can you achieve shake-free pans?

A: The Sachtler aktiv8 flowtech75 MS Tripod System, will easily perform shake free pans with long lenses and heavy systems.

Q: 3. How does this tripod/head perform in harsher conditions? Sand, salt water, cold temperatures?

A: Sachtler aktiv8 flowtech75 MS Tripod System has been tested and preforms well in all conditions, after contact with salt water, I suggest washing and drying it down.

Q: 4. Will this work with arca swiss plates?

A: No, the Sachtler aktiv8 flowtech75 MS Tripod System does not natively receive ARCA SWISS style plates whatsoever.

Q: 5. what is the total net weight on this package (bag, legs, spreader, head)?

A: The total shipping weight of the Sachtler aktiv8 flowtech75 MS Tripod System is 22.50 lb.

Q: 6. I am very interested in getting this aktiv8T. I will be using it for both photography and video. I will be shooting photos in veridical orientation. I am wondering which L bracket and plate would work on this Touch and Go?

A: There isn't a L bracket that has the Touch & Go quick release. However, you can still put an arca-swiss plate on this head and still use any L bracket.

Q: 7. Thank you Sachtler rep. With the Sideload plate, when I go from tripod to handheld does the Sideload plate go with the camera adding weight and interfering with a proper grip? Does it detach like the traditional Sony plate? I will be purchasing for use with the Sony FX6.

A: The Sachtler aktiv8 Sideload Fluid Head, which differs from the Sachtler aktiv8T Touch & Go Fluid Head, features a quick release plate, that would normally remain on the camera, when releasing it from the head. It will attach with 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws,

Q: 8. Does the pan bar slip when tilting up and down on the activ 6 head? I had a bad experience with an FSB 8T head doing just that, because Sachtler made the teeth too shallow for the pan bar to grip the rosette properly.

A: Fully functional Sachtler heads do not slip. What you described sounds like a defective or damaged tripod head. In a situation like that we recommend exchanging the tripod for a working model if within the return policy or contacting Sachtler to get the tripod head serviced. It is unfortunate that your previous experience with Sachtler was negative as they are known for making excellent tripod heads. It is unlikely that you will have the same experience with the Aktiv 6 head but in case you do contact us immediately and we will do what we can to make sure that you get a functional tripod head.

Q: 9. Would this be suitable for a red Gemini and EF 200-400mm 1.4x?

A: The Sachtler aktiv6 flowtech75 MS Tripod System (B&H# SAS2064SFTMS) could be used with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 BRAIN with GEMINI 5K S35 Sensor (2018 Unified DSMC2 Lineup) (B&H# REDSMC2G5K) and the Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x Lens (B&H# CA2004004IS). That is because the combined weight of those two items is below the maximum load capacity of the tripod and head. However, given their significant length, it will be important to balance their weight and center it on the head. If you need a slightly longer quick release plate to do so then you can use the compatible Manfrotto Quick Release Camera Plate (7") (B&H# MA504PLONGRL). It is 1.5" (3.8cm) longer than the Sachtler Sideload Plate S/Ace Tripod QR Plate (B&H# SAWPDV1) which comes with the tripod head.

Q: 10. what is the difference Sachtler System aktiv8 and Sachtler System aktiv8T ?

A: The "T" stands for their Touch and Go system.
