Q: 8. Will this shoot in bulb and burst mode on an R6? I've always used the wired remote on my previous Canons, and this is possible with the switch. However, now that I've switched to an R6 it uses a different (mini-plug) connector, so I need a new remote and would like to switch to wireless if bulb/burst is supported.

A: The Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control can be used in Bulb mode when used with the Canon EOS R6. You first press the shutter release on the remote to start the exposure, and then press it again to stop exposure. If the camera is in burst mode you hold the shutter release down.

Q: 9. Most cameras offer 2 sec and 10 sec shutter delays. Can this be set so that you can still have a 10 sec countdown? Can it also be set to use in Bulb mode ??

A: There is a 2-second timer mode switch on the remote (indicated by the "2" on the switch position). In bulb mode, trigger once to begin the exposure and trigger the second time to close it.

Q: 10. Does the zoom functions work with Canon G5X II?

A: Yes the zoom functions would work on the Canon G5X Mark II.

Ordered this to be able to take family pictures without having to run in and beat the 10 second timer. After a quick read and figuring out how to set up, I was good to go. Only draw back was having to hold it out to make sure it was aiming toward the camera. It will definitely be an asset to shooting with kids. 5

Although I have other options for remote shooting, I wanted a very simple method I could use, especially since my current Camera has an intervalometer. I can hang this from my neck and link it quickly. Great for long exposures in the waves and photos where I cannot always be close to my camera. 5

I have not only used it for slow shutter speeds but to capture pictures of birds & wildlife at feeders I set up in my yard. I can even stand inside and take pictures from inside watching thru my window so not to scar the birds/wildlife. I set my camera up only 6 feet away and then stood inside. I am a new dslr photographer and having fun learning different tactics. 5

This is wonderful! Thanksgiving's, Christmas' I used self timer on camera and ran into the 14-21 family members tried to get a spot before click of camera. This remote &new M11-22 lens on M50mkll camera will be great This Christmas.So easy to connect to M50mkll & 6Dmkll. 5

I have only tested this briefly, but it seems it will work just fine. It comes with very little documentation, but instructions can be found on YouTube. You need to set the drive on the canon R-10 to 10 second delay, and then it seems to work well. 5
