Works with the Canon R5, as documented by the manual. The W and T buttons naturally don't seem to do anything for the R5, but that has nothing to do with the remote itself. 5

I bought this remote control for my Canon M50 Mark II. To my surprise, Canon doesn't have a manual for the Canon M50 Mark II, even though they changed some options in the menu. All the videos you can find on YouTube are for the original model of M50. It took me a while to figure it out to make it work with my camera. It seems like the generic option is as good as this more expensive (branded) remote control. 5
