The beige Voice Technologies VT901 Earhanger Microphone with 3.5mm TRS Locking Connector for Sennheiser EW G4/G3/G2 Series Wireless is an earhanger microphone with exceptional voice transmission in a discreet and nearly invisible design.

The VT901 boasts a specialized super-miniature omni capsule producing very natural speech and vocals making it ideal for broadcast and stage. Speakers, actors and singers benefit from having full freedom of movement. The soft spiral ear fastener gives any user the perfect fit every time without the fear of it slipping off.

The VT901 can be worn either on the left or the right ear. The high wearing comfort is achieved through the low weight as well as through its very flexible material; thus the microphone is comfortable even after many hours.

The cable is removable and can be easily exchanged to swap connectivity between different wireless systems. This design feature benefits individual users who have backup wireless systems by different brands. The spiral ear-wrap section can be exchanged as well.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can you add more receivers than two?

A: Yes you can. When adding additional receivers, make sure they are all on the same band and then just tune all receivers to the same frequency and it will work perfectly.

Q: 2. Is the power supply 110~220v automatic?

A: Yes the included power supply in the Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME2/835-S Wireless Combo Microphone System is 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz compatible.

Q: 3. does this have headphone jack on the receiver?

A: Yes, the EK500 G4 wireless receiver in this kit does have a headphone output. It is easier to see in this image, from Sennheiser's manual: http://www.sennheiser-sites.com/responsive-manuals/ewG4/500P/EN/ew_500P_G4_EN/images/EK_500_Lautst%C3%A4rke-Phones.png

Q: 4. Is the New system ew500 g4 with frequency 470-558mhz, compatible with my Old ew100 G3 System with frequency 516-518?

A: The ew500 transmitters and receivers are compatible with the components of an older ew100 system so long as they are in the same frequency range.

Q: 5. Does this work with a Panasonic G85 or G95 camera?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser EW 112P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System would work with the Panasonic Lumix G85 Mirrorless Camera, as the camera has the necessary 3.5mm microphone input connection. The EW 112P G4 includes an adapter to mount the receiver onto the camera shoe, as well as the appropriate cable to connect the receiver's output to the camera's input. It does not appear that the Panasonic Lumix G95 Mirrorless Camera has the necessary 3.5mm microphone input connection, however.

Q: 6. Hi, is this compatible with EW 100 G4 series?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser 576131 Antenna for EW G3/G4 and EM-XSW 2 Receivers (470 to 862 MHz) is compatible for use with the Sennheiser EW 100 G4 Wireless Microphone System.

Q: 7. It this model's frequency a good fit for recording in NYC?

A: Yes, frequency band A1 can be used in New York City. However, channels 14, 15, and 16 will be blocked for public safety deployment.

Q: 8. Can I use both beltpack transmitter and handheld mic at the same time?

A: No, only one transmitter can be used at a time with the EM 100 G4 receiver. In order to use both transmitters simultaneously, you would need to use a second receiver the operates on the same frequency band as the transmitter for a second complete wireless system.

Q: 9. can each receiver receive a separate channel? one XLR feeds one receiver, the other XLR feeds the other?

A: This is not possible. The microphone inputs are configured as a stereo output to each receiver.

Q: 10. What's the difference between the AW+ and the GW1, for use primarily in the USA but also overseas (Europe and Australia?)

A: The only difference between the two is the frequency band that the system operates within. AW+ band operates between 470 to 558 MHz and GW1 operates between 558 to 608 MHz. These frequency bands are both intended for use in the USA and may not be usable in Europe or Australia.
