A: This will not work on an Acute 2.

A: I suppose you could - it's pretty bright, although I've never used it for this purpose. The modeling light is an internal LED source, *not* the main strobe lamp, so it's much cooler - I don't think it would damage any modifier any more than an LED panel would.

Q: 3. Does charging the battery at a higher current (4.5A vs 2.8A) shorten the battery's life?

A: Yes it does over a period of time

A: Yes, it comes with (2) batteries. One for EACH of the (2) lights in this kit. Charge them with either of the included chargers and you are ready to shoot. (They are great lights, by the way!! )

A: Try wrapping a Turkey Bag (plastic bag used to cook turkeys) around the light fixture during the light rain. These bags are rated at a high temperature and will protect your lights. Leave some holes for ventilation and avoid having the plastic touch the direct front of the flash glass.

Q: 6. How do you know if you need to replace the light (tube) my firing is getting less consistent. Or will the thing just stop working all together? It's pretty pricey and I don't want to have to buy a new one if this isn't the case.

A: The flash tube needs to be replaced when you are getting no flash out of the Profoto head. Tubes can easily be replaced by a plug and play procedure.

A: I believe it is the same tube for the B1, B1x, D1 and D2. But I dont own a D2. The best way to get your answer is check the replacement tubes for the B1 and B1x on the B&H online site...

A: It is battery only. There is no way to power with AC.

Q: 9. I bought B2 AirTTL last year and never used it. I opened the box and tried to charge the battery using 2.8A which comes in the kit. Whenever I plug in, I can see the power light is ON but Battery is not charging. I tried on both the batteries and none of them got charged. Any idea or suggestions?

A: You may want to try another charger, if no luck then, the batteries are dead.
