Q: 5. Our Museum purchased the Beseler CS Digital/Photo-Video Copy Stand Model 4211 from B&H. We tried to attach a digital SLR camera or 35mm to it but the camera attachment screw is too long (much longer than the CS14 screw). The instructions mention that some cameras require an adapter. What is this adapter called and where can we get it?

A: It is best that you contact us directly We will need to discuss this with you. Please come in to chat or call us.

Q: 6. As far as i understand from current pdf spec's sheet from datavideo this unit doesn't have software audio mixer? I.e. i can assign sound channel from any sdi or hdmi input to any output but cannot mix different sources (for example XLR + SDI2) to one output? Maybe there is a changes connected with a new firmware or software?

A: The main idea with SE-1200 is to use an external audio mixer then connect it to the XLR inputs of SE-1200. If you would like to also mix a camera audio input with the other audio, then you could use a Datavideo audio de-embedder (DAC-90) which will extract the audio from the SDI then allow you to connect it to an external audio mixer. If you only need 4 inputs instead of 6, you may want to consider the SE-650. It does have a built in audio mixer which would allow you to control audio levels on an embedded audio signal from HDMI or SDI camera input. The price is lower and you don't need a control surface since it's built into the switcher.Craig

Q: 7. This copy stand requires an adapter for digital SLRS. Where do I find this adapter?

A: The copy stand does not need an accessory to use a camera on it. It comes equipped with a column and the parts to attach it to. If you want lights those are additional. There are many options for lights and it depends on what you are photographing. If you do need lights it is best to contact us via chat or call us so we can discuss what is best for you.

Q: 8. I would like to send a hdmi signal from my desktop computer to one of the SDI inputs. What would I use to do this? I tried a a SDI to HDMI converter with Power Supply Adapter, Audio Embedder that support HDMI 1.3, 3G/HD-SDI . It would not detect the computer HDMI signal. HELP!

A: We would suggest working with a HDMI to SDI solution with a scaler that would fix many of the issues with computer resolutions and framerates. https://bhpho.to/3wI6Hgj

Q: 9. Will this D-Terminal to Component cable replace the Canon DTC-1500 cable that comes with the Canon xf-300 Camcorder?

A: I cannot speak to your specific camera- however a d-terminal is a d-terminal and mine was for a canon XH-A1 so it is very likely it will work.

Q: 10. with this switcher, can we have a logo in our production?

A: Datavideo says - Any Input (1-6) can be used as a Frame store (Stills Store): Up to 24 images stored on SD Card. So yes, you can display your logo on the screen with this switcher.
