Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can i use this with Bowens mount?

A: You can not use it as a indirect, but you can use it as a regular forward facing softbox via a Rotalux Bowens adapter https://bhpho.to/2lkVQra.

Q: 2. At full length the tripod is 59.3". What is the height of this tripod with the lower-most section of legs NOT deployed?

A: That height would be 44.75 inches. Each section is approx 15 inches. Best regards Tom Promediagear.com

Q: 3. I have the Litemotiv 190 and love it. But due to its size and the size of the boom stand they cannot be used in tight locations (living rooms or so). This one is not much smaller but a suitable boom can be much less massive. The question is whether the light quality of this one is similar? Also, is there an adapter for Siros L?

A: This Elinchrom softbox would produce a light that is less soft since it's smaller than the Litemotiv 190. The Elinchrom Rotalux Speed Ring for Bron Pulso Flash Heads B&H # EL26543 will get it attached to a Siros L monolight.

Q: 4. Can I input a browser? I've created a scoreboard, controlled via smartphone, I click +/- on it for scoring, it updates on a website and I can insert it in the LIVE, using it in vMix and Livestream Studio. Can it be done here?

A: This switcher has 2 HDMI inputs which you will be able to use to bring in the video from a computer with an HDMI output. We have a diagram shown on our website that shows a computer connected to the switcher. If the score board program you have offers a white or black background you would be able to key it in. https://bit.ly/2HRABWZ

Q: 5. can it test up to 1,000 Mb/s?

A: The Greenlee NC-100 NETcat Micro Wiring Tester will not test up to 1,000 Mb/s.

Q: 6. Is this capable of creating graphic overlays? Titles, lowers etc?

A: You will need to use third-party software to create graphic overlays, titles, lowers, etc.

Q: 7. Will the Bowens mount of this softbox work properly with the Bowens mount on the Aputure 300Dii LED?

A: Yes this softbox is compatible with the Aputure C300D II.

Q: 8. From the product code it should include 2 strips but from the item title it seems the strip is just one?? Can you guys check if it's one strip or 2 strips as it should be?

A: It is for two strips.

Q: 9. Will this work with Nanlite evoke 1200d ?

A: the heat from the 1200 might be too much for this box, (1200 light puts out a lot of heat )

Q: 10. Hello! I was wondering if anyone tried to use this softbox with a profoto b1 head pointed in the indirect way? Thanks! =)

A: I've been trying to make this work with the Profoto B1 and I would not recommend it. Not to say it's not possible, but the B1 is just to heavy on the back end. Plus, you have to remove the silver panel in the Profoto adapter for the B1 to slide in. But ... it won't fit all the way. The rods are configured to close to the dome. This prevents the B1 from sliding further in than half way. This makes the chance for it falling off even greater since the B1 is dragging down the adapter which has never been secure enough in my opinion even with a 7b that doesn't have that extra weight in the back end. If my other lights went down and I HAD to to use the B1 with this indirect Octa, or my 7' indirect Octa I would bungee the hell out of the B1 to the C-stand.
