  • Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit a Nikon Df or FM2?

A: The FotodioX Pro Thumb Grip for Select Compact Digital Cameras - Type-B (Black) is design for rangfinder style cameras. Nikon Df DSLR Camera and Nikon FM2 analog cameras have a triangle prism shape under the hot shoe, therefore the thumb grip will not fit properly.

    Q: 2. will this fit my gx8??

    A: Following

Q: 3. Will we still be able to use the hot shoe to place other accessories? E.g. a bubble level, or a mic.

A: It's just a holder but that means it will hold a level, mic, etc. It just won't provide any power or communication with the camera. (It also gives you somewhere to put your hot shoe cover so you won't lose it.)

    Q: 4. works with Leica M8?

    A: I use with the Fuji Xpro2.

    Q: 5. Will this work on a LUMIX GX7?

A: I use it on an X-Pro and it's fine, but the popup flash looks as though it might be a problem on a GX7

    Q: 6. Will this work on a canon M50?

A: This would not work for a Canon M50.

Q: 7. does it work on the XT 1?

A: Yes as I recall it did work, but I did not like it. I bought a hand grip right angle bracket which I like a lot. I think I still have the thumb grip. If you live near San Diego contact me. Roger Zellmer

Q: 8. Does the grip have a tripod thread hole on the bottom?

    A: Yes it does

Q: 9. Will this work for the Canon M5 and M6?

A: According to Fotodiox, grip A will work for the M6 but it does not list the M5. You can view it on our website by clicking the link below; https://bhpho.to/34Wuk4m

Q: 10. Would this fit on the Lumix GX85 since they have such similar body profiles?

A: No, this grip is made specifically for the Panasonic Gx9.
