Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work with CyberLink PowerDirector?

A: If you have a list of Keyboard keystroke macros then those can be programmed to the buttons and wheels of the device. I'm sorry I don't have any experience with the application you mentioned.

Q: 2. Can this be used as a intervalmeter on my 5Dmkiii?

A: No timer function on these.

Q: 3. Is device compatible with Sony A7RIII for remote trigger? If so does it require a cable from device to camera?

A: To trigger the A7R III remotely, you would need one of these units connected with the Vello 3.5mm Remote Shutter Release Cable for Select Sony Cameras with Multi-Terminal, BH #VERCCS235, while the second Impact unit is the transmitter in your hand. https://bhpho.to/2GvqNAr

Q: 4. Can this be an alternative remote with a Wacom Cintiq 16?

A: The Xencelabs Quick Keys Remote can work alongside a Wacom product.

Q: 5. Compatible with the older Impact 16 POWER SYNC ?

A: Yes this unit is compatible with the original Impact PowerSync 16 Transmitter and Receivers.

Q: 6. Would this work in places with different frequency like Asia?

A: Sure, because they depend of their own frequency, however what you have to check is if that frequency is forbiden in that country, but i really dont think so.

Q: 7. Can I connect a timer to the transmitter to trigger the receiver ?

A: I would recommended emailing askbh@bphoto.com and let us know the specific setup and results you are looking to achieve so that we may recommend a possible solution.

Q: 8. is it work for sony alpha 6000 Impact PowerSync16-80 Transceiver ?

A: Unfortunately, the PowerSync 16-80 is not recommend for use on a Sony camera with the Multi-Interface shoe like the A6000 since it is made for us on a standard hot shoe. For a radio trigger that will work on the A6000, you might want to consider the Pocket Wizard Plus III. Please see the link for reference: a href= http://bhpho.to/KhiuJ6. target= _blank http://bhpho.to/KhiuJ6./a You would need two to make the system work: one for your A6000 and one connected to your flash.

Q: 9. Can you adjust the output of different groups remotely or do you have to adjust each flash output at the flash in question?

A: Hey Zach - to the best of my knowledge, you can certainly assign groups - seems like there were like four pairs across a,b,c,d - maybe. I don't know the math on how many pairs, groups, etc. But, I have truly enjoyed the three that I have - all the best - I hope this helps, all in all great value, comes in a protective pouch, and is pretty straight forward.

Q: 10. Hi, I have a set of 3 Impact VC500WL strobes, does this transceiver work with the internal receiver of the stobes to trigger them?

A: I am not familiar with the Impact strobes. I have used them on Profoto's Acute2 1200 & 2400 generators and Alien Bee 1600. I have found they do not work on Norman 12/12 (very old).
