A: Hi,The Elinchrom mount is very sturdy and robust! The issue some users encounter is mounting it on a C-Stand type spigot. Different manufacturers of C-Stands, booms and other types of spigots have different depths between the top of the mount and the part where it recesses and then the bottom of the mount. The Elinchrom receiver is designed to ANSI standards for a 5/8 /16mm spigot.
