A: I've been using it with Sony A7Rii and Sony 24-70 and 16-35 lenses. I haven't tried it with the 24-240 lens yet but think that it would fit, especially if one open the bottom extension. I don't have Canon 70-300 and so can't comment. However, you should be able to determine by taking dimensions of your system and comparing it with the holster, with and without the bottom extension opened.

A: It fits, I use my Think Tank Digital Holster 20 V2.0 with an Oly OMD-EM1 Mk 2, 12-100mm and battery holder; it's tight but works well. It will loosen up a bit with time.
