Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit on Fuji XT2 with or without battery grip?

A: While we cannot test this combination, we see no reason it will not work very well for that camera with or without the grip.

Q: 2. How do I attach it to my tripod?

A: We purchased this item and had the same question. Here is what we purchased to make it work, Arca-Swiss Monoball X-Table System B&H # ARMBXTS MFR # 802330, (1)Arca-Swiss SlideFix Quickset Device (1/4 , 0.6 cm)B&H # ARQR14DS MFR # 802012Arca-Swiss Cameraplate 75 for MonoballFix (75mm)B&H # ARCPMB75 MFR # 802284

Q: 3. What camera plate is required to mount my camera onto this system?

A: While you do not list which camera you own, the Sirui TY-50E Quick Release Plate, B&H # SISUTY50E, would be a universal camera plate that would work for your needs.

Q: 4. What is the width of this rail? I have a Monoball P0 which can take a 32mm rail only. Is there a cheaper alternative that is 32mm wide that you can recommend?

A: The nodal set is for the PO head and is the width of that quick release system. So it should work fine on the head you have. For that head, Monoball P0 this is the only one we are aware of that will work.

Q: 5. What plate and clamp do I use with the Monoball to attach it to my camera and tripod?

A: Since it has a clamp on top, all you would need is an Arca Swiss type camera plate for the bottom of your camera or a lens plate for the bottom of your lens, if it has a lens collar.

Q: 6. With the upside down ball, if the camera is level, will it remain level during a panorama, or is a leveling base still necessary if one does not want to level the entire tripod?

A: It would remain leveled during a panorama. I personally use this ballhead and it has a little panning lever so that you can pan around 360 degrees without having to loosen the ballhead. A leveling base might be better if you really need to nail your levels but it's not necessary.

Q: 7. Hi there! Can you please tell me what is the maximum load of this Arca-swiss nodalset monoball fix?Thank you very much and have a nice one.

A: The monoball has a load capacity. This is just a nodal system... there is no load capacity. Put whatever you want on there.

Q: 8. Can I remove the top clamp and replace it with a normal classic arca swiss clamp plate?

A: While no reports of doing this have been made and we cannot test it, it is our opinion that the Arca-Swiss MonoballFix Quickset Device that is on top and which holds the quick release plate that it should be easily removable.

Q: 9. What is the overall height of this focus rail system?

A: 8.8cm

Q: 10. What tripod mounting plate is required to mount this system on a standard tripod head?

A: You need an Arca Swiss Z1 plate
