This silver Turtle Base from Kupo is a replacement base for the Master C-Stands with Turtle base. Featuring a zinc alloy base casting, which is five times stronger than aluminum, it can sustain the weight of heavy sandbags or people standing on it. Additionally, the hollow junior pin receiver allows debris to pass through for easier cleaning and maintenance, and the patented spring ring locking system enables you to open and close the base in under a second. It's an economical way to incorporate Kupo's base design with your existing C-Stand riser sections.

Bought three to go with my Tri-8 light kit. No worries about the lights getting knocked over. beware, though...these are heavy. So for me, not so portable, but then I dont need to take them out. 5

This is my first C stand after using light stands and what a difference! Like finely made machinery instead of bolted together equipment. Sure it's heavy, but that's what helps it be steady. As a hobbyist only, it makes it more fun to use better gear. The turtle base makes it easy to assemble/disassemble and transport. 5

The best feature of this stand is the slide-up ring above the legs. Locking and unlocking the legs is a snap. It saves lots of time and frustration. 5

Very well built stand that I would put up against any other mfg stand. Nice quality product. C-stands are a staple in the business due to their stability and ability to put stands very close to one-another. The sliding leg really helps when using on uneven, sloped ground or up against a staircase. 5
