The 12 AWG, black, 25' Century Wire and Cable Pro Glo SJTW Triple-Tap Extension Cord with CGM is made of soft-drawn, bunch-stranded 100% copper conductors for added flexibility and is molded with large strain reliefs at both ends for enhanced durability. The extension cord features a triple-tap connector, providing three standard 15A-125V outlets. This 25' extension cord is manufactured with cold-weather insulating and jacketing compounds.

The extension cord provides continuous current and ground monitoring, also known as CGM. The male plug has a built-in amber-neon light, which indicates that there is power in the cord and outlet, while the triple-tap female connector has a built-in green-neon light, which indicates ground continuity.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this work with a Zeiss 85 mm Milvus?

A: Hi Jim, I only have canon lenses. Works with them including my 85mm 1.8. Wider lenses give more depth of field.

Q: 2. Is the EF 12 II COMTATBLE FOR A EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM?

A: We use this with a tamaron 70-200 EF on a full senor C300 for video. It gives us really nice macro shots - minimizing the focal distance and giving us good close up magnification while still remianing a few feet away from the subject. The increased magnification is significant, but the the depth of field is very shallow and you lose infinite focus.

Q: 3. I want to scan my negatives with my 5D IV but I don’t have a macro lens. Will this allow me to scan my negatives using my 50 1.4? Or do I need a true macro to scan negatives successfully?

A: You can but you will have to crop a bit to get full image. Your best bet is to get an extension tube set from Kenko, in which you can use 1-3 tubes to get the desired magnification. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3fMfW3O or the Vello set; https://bhpho.to/3ixtnGA

Q: 4. Will the Canon Extension Tube EF 25 II B&H # CAETEF25Q work with the new Canon 24-70mm lens?

A: The wide end of your lens is shorter than the extension tube. This could be a problem. It should work fine at the mid to longer focal lengths.

Q: 5. Is it possible to mount a Canon Extender EF 1.4X iii to THIS Canon Extension Tube EF 25 ii TO the Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro?

A: Yes, that should work. I would recommend taking a look at the Canon web-site. They will have a compatibility table for the extender.

Q: 6. How is this extension going to affect my 24-105 f4, mounted on a 5D mk II? I will be doing jewelry photography and trying to figure out if I need to invest in a macro lens vs modifying the one mentioned above. Thank you! Still figuring it all out, I hope the question makes sense :)

A: This extension tube will allow you to focus closer. The minimum focus distance of the 25-105 f/4 lens is about 17 . With this extension tube you should be able to focus at about 4-5 . That would be at 24 mm.

Q: 7. Will this work with non Canon (Tamron, Sigma etc) lenses?

A: They will work with EF-mount lenses from all the various brands. Overall functionality should be completely seamless, but there is a slight chance that older lenses might experience a small reduction to AF responsiveness.

Q: 8. Will this add some vignetting to my rokinon 8mm fisheye?

A: Hi--extension tubes can cause vignetting, but more commonly with telephoto lenses than with wide-angle lens. If there is vignetting, it should be slight.

Q: 9. Will this extension tube allow EF-S lenses to be used on EF-mount cameras, such as the new Blackmagic Design URSA Mini EF mount? I have a collection of EF-S lenses for my Canon 70D and was wondering if I'd be able to get any use out of them on an EF-mount camera such as that. Thanks

A: I don't have any EF-S lenses, but from what I understand the white dot indicates that you can mount the tube to such lenses. BUT, even if you can then mount the tube onto an EF body, you will lose infinity focus. What you gain with extension tunes is the ability to focus a lens closer for macro work. This changes the normal distance focusing ability of any lens. So I guess the answer is yes and no. Yes it should mount between an EF-S lens and and EF body, but no if you expect this to turn your EF-S lens into an EF lens.

Q: 10. Can I attach this and than use ef 1.4x + ef 2x extenders combined, mounted on a ef 300mm 2.8?

A: Unfortunately, Canon EF Extenders and Canon Extension tubes cannot be combined.
