It's fully adjustable from 28.5-39.0", and attaches to your OP/TECH pad (sold separately) via two quick disconnects. The loops on the two 3" Mini QD Connectors attach to the lugs on your camera. Once connected to your camera, the Mini QDs attach to connectors on the sling that allow your camera to slide up to shooting position. An extra tether is included in case you prefer extra length on your strap. The tether can also be used to provide extra security for your camera.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where is the 21.5-25" and 23-46" lengths for small and medium measured? Maybe superimposing on the model person with the strap will be clearer.

A: Being that the adjustments are made at the bottom of the straps where it meets the strap lugs on the camera, the measurement is most likely taken from that point up to the neoprene pads that rest on the shoulders.

Q: 2. does it cause problems if the 2 items are different weights? I'd most likely be using it with an slr and attached 200mm lens on one side and small zeiss binoculars on the other.

A: I use a Nikon 850 with a Nikkor 300 lens and a Nikon 300S with a nikkor 55. I think you will be happy with this selection.

Q: 3. would this work for a mirrorless, such as the Olympus OM-D E-M5?

A: I would not recommend it. The OM-D is too heavy for this strap (sling).

Q: 4. What is the weight capacity of this? I have an A6300 and the heaviest lens I intend to hang on my neck is 660g.

A: I use this strap with all three of my Nikon 1 V series cameras; this model of strap is also on some of my binoculars because it is preferable to the originals. I do not hesitate to trust it with the weight you specified. --- Randy ---

Q: 5. Is this strap padded and comfortable? Also, will it hold a Sony a7rii (625g) using a heavy Sony Gmaster 24-70 lens (886g) and Godox tt685s (410g) Flash plus battery?

A: The Mini QD Connectors on that strap can support no more than 5 lbs. We do not have that flash but you are coming very close to the limit in my opinion.I suggest adding this to the Sony camera, Ruggard Split D-Ring Twin Pack (12mm) B&H # RUSDR12MM MFR # SDR-12MM. With those you can then use a stronger camera strap. This is a strap with those rings that is stronger, Ruggard Lux Strap Plus with 3/8 Connector B&H # RULSP38 MFR # LSP-38

Q: 6. Will I be able to bring up the to see thru the view finder?

A: Yes

Q: 7. How to get the cord through SX730 slot - can't get it through the attachment site as cord too thick?

A: Are you able to feed some fishing line through the hole and pull it through that way?

Q: 8. I am purchasing a Panasonic ZS100. Would this be a good strap for the camera?

A: Yes this would be a great option!

Q: 9. I've lost the part that connects to the camera. Can I order a new piece?

A: The product that the OP/TECH team mentioned is the OP/TECH USA Mini QD Loops (1.5mm) (Set of Four), BH #OPSCMQDL. https://bhpho.to/2QjUuti

Q: 10. how wide is the strap?

A: My strap is 1-1/2 wide... I like it very much, and would recommend it...

I can't edit my own earlier review? OK, doing it over. The previous failure didn't recur, so I'm writing it off as a fluke.

Pro:
1. The slider that lets the shoulder pad stay on your shoulder.
2. The single point of attachment to the camera so it's easy (with
caveat, see below) to separate from the strap for easier camera
handling.

Con:
The quick release buckle is too small for quick release. I have
relatively narrow fingers, but it's nevertheless awkward to poise them so as to depress the narrowly recessed connector. I dealt with that by attaching the provided connector's loop to another buckle that's easier to operate. But rest of the design is so much better than any other shoulder strap I've seen that I'm very happy with the product as modified.

In addition to my Nikon Z6 II, I carry a Sony RX100 VII for the quick grab 'n go shots. The sling keeps the camera safely around my shoulders rather than the little wrist strap that could easily slip from my wrist and drop a $1200 point 'n shoot.

I was very happy with the service. I bought a “camera sling“ and I thought I could attach their battery holder to the strap, but I was mistaken. I emailed them and they sent me some Velcro and told me how to do a workaround so that I could fix the problem. I think their customer service was great and their product was just fine. Thanks Terry for your assistance.

If you gave the Op/Tech strap, get this great, inexpensive sling adapter. Really simple, just clips in and takes camera off your neck and allows you to wear it like a sling over the shoulders while letting camera sit at hip. Great accessory
