A: I use my RH353 with a Manfrotto 5001BAC...had some difficulty attaching the clamp to the top section of the light stand, as the diameter of the light stand pole seemed a bit too large for the RH353's clamp. My sister and I are a two-person crew; and usually we're also both in front of the camera. I wanted to get a boom pole holder so we can get good overhead audio without needing someone to hold a boom pole. I have used this holder a couple times so far and it has worked perfectly. It works exactly how I needed it to; and I haven't found any problems with it.

This will save your arms from having to hold a increasingly heavier boompole. It is everything that it needs to be, and nothing more. I bought the one with the extra head, so I don't even have to use up my C-Stand head on this. If you have an intern, you do not need this, they need to learn the ropes and toughen up a bit, so make them hold the boom...

Yo this thing is cool, helps when you're too lazy to hold a boom, don't want to damage the boom pole with clamps on a C Stand. Just use the Boom Pole Holder, can support any weight, makes sure the boom is secure. Great addition to the kit.

Not much to say, seems solidly built and does the job it was designed to do very well. I would buy it again if I needed another one.

This is an amazing piece of bent metal. It holds a pole and it holds it really well. Did I mention that it's also coated in rubber? Well, guess what, it is! So, let that sink in for a moment, you're getting a bent piece of metal AND it's coated in rubber. Did I just blow your mind? I'm no metals expert, but I have to imagine that someone very experienced in heating and bending metal took about forty eight cents worth of metal and then bent it in just the right way so that it's useful to a video person and then looked at it and said you know what would make this complete? Rubber. That person then took ten cents worth of rubber and coated the whole darn thing. Once the masterpiece was complete, I'm sure the craftsman sat back in their leather recliner and said I've got about a dollars worth of material here, but a lifetimes worth of metal knowledge, what would that be worth to video people? What would those people be willing to be for this incredible bent metal? 100x the material costs? 1,000x the materials costs? Doesn't matter, there is no competition, so it can be as much profit as they want to make. In the end, it's an amazing piece of bent metal.
