The XIO 9090DLY-HD20S HD/SD-SDI Video Delay for XIO Frame from Gra-Vue delays an HD- or SD-SDI video signal up to 20 seconds and features frame sync. It is part of a modular system, and requires the 3RU version of the XIO frame to act as a host device. Audio separation is possible, meaning any SDI-embedded audio can be delayed separately from the video stream by ±15 frames for situations arising from audio sync issues. The delayed program signal is output through three HD/SD-SDI connectors, allowing multiple downstream devices to be connected without requiring additional distribution hardware.

Delays HD/SD-SDI Video up to 20 Seconds    Three HD/SD-SDI Program Outputs    Audio/Video Offset up to ±15 Frames    Frame Sync with Reference Input    Remote Controllable Via Web UI

Q: 1. Does the Solo only run off of its internal battery, or may it be powered via wall wart or other external power source?

A: You can use either. There is a 120 minute internal battery as well as a power cable.

Q: 2. I am looking for the "old" type for viewing slides that are alread on a light table. Will this work if you remove what appears to be a translucent backing?

A: A slide would be inserted into the Pana Vue product. Based on your description, a loupe such as the Peak PlaLupe 10x, BH # PE2032 would work best when viewing slides on a light table. https://bhpho.to/3ClhEob

Q: 3. How does one change the batteries?

A: At back of unit press both sides simultaneously and pull back. Unit housing batteries and bulb will slide out.

Q: 4. Is it possible to take one HDMI input and output 1 pass-through HDMI output and one vertically flipped HDMI output?

A: Yes, The DECIMATOR DMON-4S has 4 independent converters that would allow you to flip one of the HDMI outputs. It supports - Horizontal and/or Vertical image flipping per window.

Q: 5. I see there is no loop out on the transmitter for SDI, can I use the HDMI out on the transmitter if I use the SDI input?

A: Yes, the Accsoon CineView 2 SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter/Receiver Kit transmitter can loop out the SDI input through the HDMI output.

Q: 6. Can I buy LRT subscription when I need it? for example if I need it for the next 30 days I can subscribe for one month and stop the subscription after that and only activate it when I need it? or if I start the subscription I will need to keep it active and pay monthly for it?

A: I'm wondering if the LiveU Rep can post an updated reply here now that it's 3 years later.. perhaps this has changed?

Q: 7. Is an A/C adapter included with the solo ?

A: Yes, the LiveU Solo comes with an AC power cord to power it from an outlet.

Q: 8. Can labels be added to the multiview?

A: Yes, The DMON-4S supports placing a custom label or UMD (under monitor display) on the layout for each window. Using a custom layout on the DMON-4S will allow you position these wherever you like in the multi view. The custom layouts and text for the labels are set up using the free of charge USB Control Panel software.

Q: 9. Can this unit connect to wifi without a USB modem connected? We are looking to connect as wifi only. No bonding. No direct wire connection to a modem.

A: The unit also has a CAT5 connection. And if you are at a difficult site, you can mix all 3.

Q: 10. Can this unit stream directly to YouTube by setting up the stream directly through YouTube and not go through the solo portal? Our public access station is on a budget so we would like to avoid monthly fees where we can.

A: Hi Shannon, The Solo portal is included with your purchase so there are no additional fees assocaited with the portal. The portal is used to tell the unit where you want the signal to go, so you would go to the portal first and tell the unit to send your stream to YouTube.
