So nice to not worry about scratching my screen, and far clearer than any other screen protection I have ever seen or used. Seems to be very durable, as the body its on lives a rough life, the body it replaced had a screen that was scratched horribly, the protector seems to laugh it all off... I am putting one on every body I own, and any I buy in the future!!! 5

Bought this as a replacement to the plastic protector supplied with my D200 years ago. The mounting proceedure was easy. The clarity viewing clarity is superb. I am planning to purchase another camera body this year and I will certainly get an Aegis for that unit at time of purchase. 5

Given that my hands shake and I'm pretty much of a fumble fingers, I was nervous about getting the glass cover placed exactly right. However, I did it on the first try. Now my view of the screen is perfect and not obstructed like it was when I kept the cheesy plastic Nikon cover on, which I did all the time to protect the LCD. Moreover, when I peeled off the protective coating, there was no residue to be cleaned. 5

I found that this was extremely easy to put on my camera. I followed the super-simple instructions, and it went right on, first try, no problems at all. It's a dramatic improvement over the Nikon cover that comes with the body. No dust will get under it, it wipes clean, it's lower profile that the plastic cover, and it actually makes the LCD screen look better. There is no question that I will buy another one of these if I ever break this one. 5

I pulled my D200 out of the bag and it had a huge gouge in the LCD screen. I was furious. Then I realized that it has just scratched the screen protector I had put the camera when I first purchased it. I peeled off the old one and ordered a new one. The actual LCD glass was still perfect. The product looks like a natural part of the camera, doesn't distort the view, and as my experience shows, protects the screens. It's costly, but it's also worth it. 5

I think this glass screen protector is great on my D200, it has been on about a year. It attaches easily, and does not scratch like the plastic Nikon screen saver. I can wipe my nose prints off the LCD with my shirt without fear of scratching. I see the other negative reviews, but don't agree. I have removed it with zero damage to my LCD. My favorite part is the very clear view of the LCD, unlike the Nikon screen saver, which seems to optically cloud the image during review. I will be upgrading to the D700 when it is available, and will definitely buy the 3.0 saver for that camera as well. 5

I can't disagree more with the other reviewers. I'm a professional photographer,and have (5) nikon bodies . I have placed this screen protector on all of them. I had no problem with the installation as did the other reviewers of this product. It works perfect in the sun when viewing images. We do keep the plastic protector that comes with the camera on over the Glottos for that extra protection. I guess I am used to working with precision equipment . I also have big hands , so like the some others I put the camera on a tripod for the installation. 5
