The Noga NF9038CA CineArm NF (Small) is composed of three-joints that can be quickly and efficiently locked or released using a kip lever-based central mechanism. This would be especially good to use if you are attaching the Odyssey 7Q + to the leg of your tripod with the Super Clamp or the camera to a flat or rounded surface with the same clamp.

A: The ball joint tension can't be adjusted. I would recommend not placing anything over 6.61 lbs. Which is the rated payload.

A: Not counting the connectors, you're looking at about 17.25

A: The Manfrotto 244N has a variable friction control, so you can essentially loosen on portion of the arm while the other remains tight. If you do not need that sort of control, the 143N would have a single locking lever that loosens all the joints equally.

A: Since the Manfrotto 143N Magic Arm can hold up to 6.6 lbs, the Super Clamp holds 33 lbs and the BackLight Base can also hold up to 33 lbs, the Canon C300 Mark II and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 II USM can definitely be held securely with this kit.
