The FastFire III Reflex Sight from Burris Optics features a 8-MOA red aiming dot, which is big enough to see in the daylight, but won't obstruct small varmints. Three brightness levels lets you set it to your preference, or switch it to auto and the light sensor will detect the amount of available light and adjust the brightness itself. The FastFire III is made of aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish, and is waterproof and submersible. This sight is offered without a mount. Mounts are sold separately for a variety of rifles and pistols.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I put a standard size 46mm ND filter on it will it vignette or otherwise show the edges of the filter ring?

A: You will be fine with a single ND filter. I would avoid stacking multiple filters.

Q: 2. What is the temperature operating range for this lens?

A: There is no listed operating temperature for this lens from the manufacturer.

Q: 3. Why is this lens soft in the corners on the BMPCC4K??

A: This may have to with the aperture you are shooting at. At F/2.0 the depth of field is going to be shallower, so the corners may be soft. Also with more affordable lenses like this you may not get the sharpest performance at higher F-Stop. You may need to stop down to see sharper images in general.

Q: 4. Is this Suitable for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K ?

A: The Venus Optics Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT Lens for Micro Four Thirds works very well with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.

Q: 5. Is this lens compatible with a Panasonic DMC-GF1?

A: Yes.

Q: 6. On my copy of this lens, the infinity mark did not line up with the index mark on the lens barrel. Other people have said the same. Has this problem been fixed? Or is there some explanation for this. I want to be able to zone focus, but with a focusing scale that is not accurate, this is not possible. Any answers regarding this problem?

A: Yes, like most lenses the true infinity point is inside the marking. I found the place on my lens and remember it. More importantly, the lens is sharpest at f/5.6. Shooting in adequate light, I set the lens to f/5.6, set the focus ring anywhere inside the infinity marking and with a 7.5mm ultra-wide lens the results are hyperfocal; everything is in focus from a few feet to infinity with no attention required.

Q: 7. Will this lens work for astro or night photography?

A: The Venus Optics Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT Lens for Micro Four Thirds (Black) is a good lens for astro and night photography.

Q: 8. Will this work with a Canon M6?

A: This lens is designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras; the Canon M6 has a different mount--an EF-M lens mount.

Q: 9. Quick Question... Just purchased the Laowa 7.5mm F2.0 lens for landscape use on either my EM-1 MII or my EM-5 MII. Is it appropriate to set the camera mode to Manual, select shutter speed on the camera and then select aperture on the lens ring. Or, alternatively is is better to select camera mode to Program, and then select the desired aperture on the lens? For those that use this lens, what is considered routine or optimal practice for well to decently lit landscape photos?

A: It does not matter which one you choose, it is all a matter of which you prefer using and what aspects of your photo you want to change.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with GH5S?

A: Yes this lens will work with the the GH5S. It is a manual focus lens so you will not be able to auto focus.
