The Acebil P-35MX Professional Tripod System features a 75mm ball H35 Fluid Head, T752 Aluminum Tripod, MS-3 Mid-Level Spreader, RF-3 Rubber Feet, and a S-52 Carry Case. The head supports loads up to 19.8 lb and has a fixed counterbalance and fixed pan and tilt drag. A sliding quick-release plate attaches to your camera via a 1/4"-20 screw, for easy attachment and removal. To assist in keeping your shots, even in dim environments, an LED illuminated bubble level is built-in into the head. A pan bar comes included and can be attached on either the left or right side of the head.

The 75mm bowl T752 tripod features a 2-stage design and aluminum construction. It has a height range of 17.7 to 60.2" and comes with a MS-3 Mid-Level Spreader for enhanced stability. The RF-3 Rubber Feet help protect indoor surfaces from tripod feet abrasions. A carrying case is included for easy storage and transport of the tripod system.

A: This should work well with the XA20 plus the zoom control is of the LANC type so it interface correctly with the camcorder and you will have smooth zooms.

A: They do not list the minimum working height, but the center column can turn 90 degrees and the legs can open to a very wide angle so you can get very close to the ground. I would say around 4-5 inches from the ground.

Q: 6. Is this head compatible with manfrotto 501 quick-release plates?

A: Unfortunately, the Acebil I-605DX is not compatible with the Manfrotto 501pl plate.

Q: 7. is there another spreader I could use with this tripod to go lower, other than the one included?

A: There is a floor spreader model as well as this mid-level one seen here. Acebil T1002G Tripod Legs (100mm Bowl) B&H # ACT1002G. However, to get as low as possible with this tripod, you would have to remove whatever spreader it has. The lowest possible set up would come with a smaller tripod or a hi-hat. E-Image Hi-Hat with 75/100mm Bowl B&H # EI7500 is one possibility.

I use to have the Sachtler eng cf hd sticks that these directly compete with. These are legit. Only con, which isn't actually a con to me, is the mid spreader does not have 3 level settings like Sachtler. This doesn't bother me, as I never liked to use that on the Sachtler. Acebil customer service is top notch. 5

I use this tripod for news reporting. It's the first professionnal tripod that I have had the chance to use. I'm very happy with it's performance. The head is smooth and easy to use. I like that the legs are released with a simple lever, which means it's quick to deploy. If you're looking for a good tripod on a budget, you definitely want to consider this one. 5

I run a large rental house, and I have to say that these are probably the best and most cost effective tripod legs for a heavy duty 100mm tripod head. We got these legs originally to pair with our Sachtler V18 heads (with the idea of pairing more expensive Sachtler legs with the more expensive O'Connor 1030 heads and more expensive Sachtler V20 heads). To my surprise, everyone thought that these were the superior legs (over the $+ Sachtler legs). So now, the T2002CM's are by default paired with the O'Connor 1030 heads and Sachtler V20 heads. In short, the Acebil T2002CM legs are very high quality, have a heavy payload, are solidly built, and are somehow cheaper that more name brand legs that we found inferior. Highly, highly recommend. 5
