Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this stand be acceptable for on location shooting? I need something portable and sturdy.

A: We have been using a bunch of these with no issues, a little clunky to carry around, but sturdy and lightweight wins. I actually have 8 of these in the studio now for various laptops and controllers

Q: 2. Can it be adjusted high enough for playing while standing ?

A: This keyboard stand is meant for playing while sitting or standing. Height adjustments range from 26.3" (67 cm) to 33.4" (85 cm.)

Q: 3. Does anyone know the base spread of this stand? The Auray has a 26" (66cm) base spread. I'm guessing the wider the spread, the sturdier.

A: Between 19 and 22 inches.

Q: 4. Does this work with any motorized device?

A: This slider does not work with any motor that I know of, and definitely not the E-Image Motor1, due to the belt being oriented in a different manner from other sliders. The belt orientation gives the slider extra travel distance when using the center bottom plate for mounting, and a motor would drastically unbalance the slider when mounted that way.

Q: 5. how much weight does it support?

A: Supports Laptops & Devices up to 33 lb

Q: 6. How much weight can this securely hold and still provide a smooth slide on longer lenses (200mm)?

A: The E-Image ES50 Slider has a capacity of 17lbs/8kg. Whatever camera/lens weight combination you have, if it is under this weight, you should not have any issues.

Q: 7. What is the weight capacity?

A: The manufacturer has not specified a weight capacity but has noted that the stand can accommodate any size laptop computer. For an estimate, a large laptop with a 17" screen can weigh up to approximately 8 pounds, so it would be safe to say that the LPH-004 can accommodate a laptop that weighs up to 8 pounds.

Q: 8. Will this attach to an On-Stage Z-type keyboard stand like the KS7350?

A: Yes, the On-Stage KSA8500 Keyboard Tier includes adapters for compatibility with On-Stage Z-style stands.

Q: 9. How wide is the rectangular mount? Top to bottom when looking at it horizontally! Looking to purchase for a different Z stand...

A: Thank you for your email. At this time the manufacturer has not made that specification available as it is meant to be mounted to either side of any QuikLok Z stand except for the Z-722 or Z-722L

Q: 10. Is this the suggested stand for the Korg ms20 mini?

A: It's one of several stands that are recommended. You might want to have a look at B&H# ONKS8291XX. It's very sturdy.
