ISL 2st from NuGen Audio is a true peak limiter designed for use in audio mixing and mastering, and provides the necessary final step when preparing stereo and mono content. Look-ahead functionality means the audio is examined before it actually passes through the limiter, helping to ensure that any transient peaks are limited correctly to avoid distortion. The true peak limit can be set directly to help ensure compatibility with loudness normalization standards used by iTunes Radio, Spotify and many others.

With steering and ducking meters, the software provides the perfect settings. Whether preserving directional integrity or atmospheric ambience, the plug-in delivers the information and control needed to achieve those goals. Processing enhancements assess the incoming audio for frequency content and automatically take care of any minor adjustments required when LF content drives the limiter, delivering increased transparency whilst maintaining intuitive operation.

Q: 1. I bought this mic assuming that XY configurations were always at 90 or 120 degrees. But this seems to be 180 degrees (mics pointing completely sideways). I want to record rock and jazz concerts - is this the best mic configuration for my use?

A: The Audio-Technica AT8022 uses a coincident capsule configuration in order to produce and X/Y stereo image in a small housing. This mic is great for recording live music. The key is distance and a good focal point. The X-Y technique offers little to no benefit if you're too close to the source. Experiment different distances; and this all varies from venue to venue.

Q: 2. can the needle be replaced?

A: The needle on this turntable can be replaced when necessary. The appropriate model is the Audio-Technica Consumer ATN3600L Replacement Stylus, B&H # AUATN3600L.

Q: 3. Can I use 3.5mm male mono connections? Reason is I am connecting two radios and the output speakers are mono

A: Yes this will work fine for that purpose.

Q: 4. Does the head have or need a level to make sure the camera shot level with the horizon?

A: The Freewell FW-T1 Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with Ball Head does not have a built-in bubble level. If you need to ensure your image is level and your camera does not have a built-in electronic level, you may purchase the Vello Two-Axis Hot-Shoe Bubble Level, B&H # VEBLHS2, and place it on your camera's hot shoe to assist you with leveling your camera for straight horizons: https://bhpho.to/4eKNAXq.

Q: 5. Is the head that comes with this tripod removable, or is it fixed?

A: The head on the Freewell FW-T1 Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with Ball Head does come off. And it has a standard 3/8" thread.

Q: 6. will this cord set allow me to view my photos in the camera onto a TV input for viewing?

A: Yes, the HDMI cords in this set can allow most cameras to connect to the HDMI port on a TV to video images or video footage.

Q: 7. Is there noise/interference with two sources connected?

A: The Sescom A/B switch is passive and does not use any batteries or power to function. There should not be any noise or interference when two sources are connected.

Q: 8. Is there a way to set a password so others can't connect to it?

A: The short answer is no, The unit is a receiver only, and is always ready to pair when not already paired. While DN-200BR is paired with a Bluetooth device, other Bluetooth devices cannot pair to it. You must unpair (disconnect) the current Bluetooth device from DN-200BR to make it available to others. If it is a\already paired, and both devices are always on, nothing else will be able to pair to it.

Q: 9. Does the 1/8" connection also provide phantom power? Or is it only through the XLR cable?

A: When using the Audio-Technica AT8022 X/Y Stereo Phantom and Battery Powered Field Microphone with its XLR to 3.5mm TRS output cable, the microphone will not receive phantom power from the corresponding 3.5mm input connection. When used with this connection the AT8022 should be powered from its AA battery compartment.

Q: 10. what cables do i need connect to pc's?

A: Each device requires one 3.5 mm male to 3.5 mm male stereo audio cable. Be sure the one connecting to the computer is long enough to reach from the sound card headphone jack to the location of the switch.
