This product looks and feels great. A friend of mine has had one for quite a while and loved it, so I finally decided to buy one. It definitely helps your posture when working on your laptop, by raising your laptop closer to eye-level. One of the main things that made me purchase this stand over other stands is the lip on the bottom which will keep your laptop from sliding off the stand. I have kids and worried about them sliding it off or scratching my MacBook Pro, so this alleviates some of my concern.

I love it. Works like a gem. Well designed and quality construction. Not many features. If you need height or angle adjustment look elsewhere. I choose this for the clean look and sturdy construction. It's the kind of thing you buy once and use for the rest of your life. It can be a tinsy bit bouncy if you're typing on it. But faaaar less so than some competitors. The slim platform it rests on is excellent for tucking a keyboard or drawing tablet under for more desk space. The price imo is fair. You're paying for design and quality of materials and construction. I've bought two, and I would buy another if needed.

The mStand is brilliant. There are a lot of different stands out there, many of which I've tried, but none as great as this. The key difference between this stand and its competitors is that the mStand is made of a single piece of molded aluminum, where as all others I've seen are made of multiple parts. Being a single piece gives it MUCH more strength and stability. The mStand also keeps my Powerbook Pro cool even after hours of use as the aluminum actually draws heat away from the laptop and disperses it much better than air alone. The large space under the laptop that is now freed up is big enough to put my Intuos 5 (medium) drawing tablet, full size keyboard, mouse, and track pad when not in use. The height of the mStand puts my laptop dead center (vertically) with my Apple LED Display (27), and also makes viewing the screen MUCH more comfortable when I'm not using the monitor. I have NO complaints or cons. This product is exceptionally well designed.

Why I love it: - ergonimically the correct height - room for a separate keyboard - holes for cables if you haven't gone completely wireless - more durable than plastic - space safer in a small cubicle - it has grip so the laptop stays put - compliments a Mac or Windows laptop What I wish: - it was available in other metal finishes - it was available in black Pick any office furniture manufacturer (Herman Miller, Haworth etc.) to research complimenting colors/finishes.

Very good stand and matches Macbook. It's just one single piece aluminum and it's not that bulky like you see in the picture.

I know, at first blush, many would think $ for a laptop stand?1? But having learned my lesson that when it comes to buying stuff, buy once, use forever, it's worth every penny. The MStand is just one piece of aluminum which gives it's strength and Apple like appearance. It's an incredibly sturdy and solid stand that you can use with just about any laptop. I've used it with everything from a 13.3 Macbook Air to a 17 Asus laptop behemoth with no troubles at all. The only con is that it is not adjustable like some other stands might be, but I consider this a minor quibble. Overall, there isn't a whole lot to say about this aside from that you do get your moneys worth. It's virtually unbreakable unless you intend to sit/stand on it or run over with your car. Aside from that, I don't how you can break this piece of gear. The best compliment I can give it is that it's invisible during use. I place my laptop on it and forget it's there. No wobbling or moving around. Can't ask for much more!

I scoured the web for a simple functional laptop riser and stand and this is the only one that fits the bill for me. It lifts the laptop display to the perfect viewing level and I can store my keyboard under it to make more room on my desk. I found that an adjustable height feature is really not necessary. The viewing angle is important to me and this one has been designed with a good angle. And very importantly, my MacBook feels secure and stable on it unlike other stands which seem flimsy. Also, nice simple design and isn't a huge dust catcher like ones with a lot of parts. Who has time or wants to dust! I definitely recommend this one.
