Q: 1. Could I use this to power a Atomos Shogun?

A: No. This unit would work see linkhttps://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1324659-REG/indipro_tools_72slsl5_7_2v_regulated_dual_sony.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1324659-REG/indipro_tools_72slsl5_7_2v_regulated_dual_sony.html/aMFR # 72SLSL5

Q: 2. can you power an external monitor with this as well as a bmpcc simultaneously?

A: No, it does not have a D tap or any other sort of DC out other than the plug for the Pocket Camera. Also, the power demands of the camera itself would make doing this impractical.

Q: 3. Does this come with the batteries?

A: There are no batteries that come with this unit. All of the batteries are sold separately.

Q: 4. is. this coupler compatible with the GH5mark 2?

A: No, the Tether Tools Relay Camera Coupler for Panasonic Cameras with DMW-BLF19 Battery is not compatible with the Panasonic Lumix GH5 II Mirrorless Camera (BH #PADCGH5M2). Instead you will need a dummy battery like the Kondor Blue DMW-BLK22 Dummy Battery to DC 1.35/3.5mm Coiled Cable (16 to 36"), BH #KODCBLK22.

Q: 5. Does this come with the AC adapter?

A: No, the Case Relay Power System does not come with an AC adapter.

Q: 6. is the out jack 5.5x2.1mm? I'd like to use my cable because my cage won't accept the right angle 2.5x.07mm plug.

A: These out put jacks are 2.5mm. If you need to find the right solution to use a 2.1mm jack, you can contact use directly, we will need to know few details to steer you in the right direction contact our customer service atsales@indiproco.com

Q: 7. What is the size of the battery connection? Is it a 2.1 female? thanks!

A: Yes this coupler offers a 2.1mm female DC connection.

Q: 8. When camera/coupler/Tether Tool is operating, suggestions of how to keep battery drain from exceeding the simultaneous charging? I have found it will not do both at the same time. Thanks.

A: It works for me. Keep in mind you have to use a power bank or charger that outputs at least 2 amps (the one i use is 2.1 amps). I tried with a power bank that only outputs 1 amp initially and that gave me the same problem as you have.

Q: 9. Does this work for the GH5?

A: Yes, this power system is compatible for the Panasonic GH5 camera.

Q: 10. Does this work with GH5S?

A: Yes will power the GH5

This battery has a long life and recharges relatively quickly. Actually, I've never ran out of battery on my GH-3, so I've never had to use this spare battery. It's nice that this Panasonic battery is relatively inexpensive, not like their professional camcorder batteries!

I've purchased a few generic brand batteries that don't seem to hold their charge half as well as the official batteries. In short, I now have 3 batteries that will last me a total of roughly 6 hours. I'll probably run out of memory long before I run out of juice.

Always nice to have an extra battery, ready to go. No more worrying about not having enough battery life while filming outdoors on location.

It’s just a battery, but I decided to go with the Panasonic (a bit more expensive) original rather than the compatible third-party brands. Working great so far and no complaints.

Works great in my GH5. A little pricier than the aftermarket but I've had bad luck with longevity of non-Panasonic batteries.

I have three of the factory batteries for my GH5 and find on average an extra hour of time over third party batteries. I have three of those and they are good backups for finishing a shoot.
