Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the YN622N II support the new SB 5000 please? and does the version II works with first version ?

A: Unfortunately, there have not been any tests to date involving the YN 622N II and the SB-5000. With that being said, we are not able to confirm their full compatibility. As for the features in the YN 622N II over the original YN 622N, those would be the USB port for firmware updates and a locking hot shoe. They are full compatible with the original YN 622 units.

Q: 2. Can I use a single controller 622-n tx-i-ttl with a number of 3 transceivers?

A: I agree with the other answers, yes you can very easily.

Q: 3. also can I use in the nikon sb24?

A: I have an old SB20 and it works fine. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't work with any speed light.

Q: 4. Is this fully compatible with the Nikon D750?

A: Yes. I use a D750... along with the Yongnuo controller, I use these to trigger my Alien Bees in studio and with my SB700 and SB800 flashes on location.

Q: 5. I have these to use on my Nikon D7200. This is probably user error but I'm having issue with the flash flashing several times when I depress the shutter release. There are like three quick flashes then when shutter button goes all the way down it flashes. I'm I doing something wrong? I'm sure I am.

A: make sure the red eye reduction setting on the camera is off.

Q: 6. Will these work to and from a Yongnuo YN-622N-TX i-TTL Wireless Flash Controller and a Nikon SB-900?

A: Yes, if you connect the Nikon SB-900 Speedlight Flash to the Yongnuo i-TTL Transceiver YN622N for Nikon Cameras, the Yongnuo YN-622N-TX i-TTL Wireless Flash Controller will wirelessly trigger the Nikon SB-900 Speedlight Flash.

Q: 7. Are both YN622N-TX and YN622N-II compatible with Nikon D850 ?. I have three SB900s. Thanks for your help.

A: Yes the YN-622N is compatible with the D850 and SB 900s.

Q: 8. I have an sb900 sb24 and vivitar 285 with my nikon D750. can I use it.? thank you

A: As manual devise - yes (no TTL), I used old flash Olympus32 with D750 its working great.

Q: 9. I need a OCF setup but never used this brand. I need a pass through transmitter and two receivers for wedding receptions. Do these have such a thing?

A: Zach,I'm not familiar with the term OCF . I have used the YN622N along with the TX622N on my camera to fire my old SB28 flash and I have used one of the YN622N's to fire the camera and the flash remotely. I have had no trouble in my testing of these units and I am considering buying a Yungno flash as well to supplement my SB28. To date, I am very satisfied with the YN622N.

Q: 10. Can you set the flash parameters on the YN622II transceiver using the in-camera menus Oreo you need to adjust the settings using the buttons on the YN622?

A: I never managed to set up the menu it is extremely cumbersome and difficult to manage. Personally, I do not recommend making this purchase.

I've only been using them for 2 weeks but the integraded seemlessly with the nikon ITTL system. Highspeed sync works great. I'm using 3 Yongnuo speedlights as well as an sb-900. I don't know about longevity, but I'll update this review in a month or so.

Great value compared to other popular brands of wireless control of Nikon's CLS. Removes the barrier of line of sight. Able to group lights and control groups separately.

Works out of the box with Metz 58AF-2 attached triggered from a Nikon D5 with Yongnuo YN-622TX transmitter.

I initially was looking at Radio Poppers and Phottix flash transceivers, however due to a budget I decided to try this kit! So far works great!! Only complaint I may have so far is the range is not what I expected. Being radio I expected hundreds of feet however I would say I may be getting about 50-60 ft range. Have not thoroughly tested and compared both transceivers yet so maybe I have a bum one. Not sure. Anyways works spectacular for what I need them for when a line of sight from camera to flash is not possible.

Combine this with the Yonguno 622TX controller and radio controlled wireless flash is breeze. Love it. Works with all of my flash units and is accurate in TTL mode. Built in AF assist is a plus

Purchased this as a complete package for wireless, speedlites. Everything works as advertised and you get two of everything compared to the cost of just 1 brand name speed light. I used everything in manual mode so I can control the two groups depending on the setup or you can TTL and adjust from your camera. TTL Transceiver YN622N for Nikon Cameras (2-Pack) by Yongnuo 2 - YN-568EX Speedlites for Nikon Cameras by Yongnuo YN-622N-TX i-TTL Wireless Flash Controller for Nikon by Yongnuo Great price, easy operation and good performance. What's not to like?

Great little units. Cheap, strong, work great on my Nikon d700 and Fuji xt1.

Bought this product to set up a home studio after doing lots of research. The research paid off. These work perfectly with my Nikon D800, two SB800 flashes, and an SB400 flash (that I probably should replace at some point). While the instructions are not the best, they did get me up and running. TTL, Manual, zoom settings, high speed sync... they all work flawlessly and so far, 100% of the time. If I had to pick on something, I would say these are a bit larger ideal, but for the price and performance... I'll deal with it.

So far this has served me for what I had planned on. I got this along with the YN685 flash and the YN622N-TX. If you are planning to trigger just the 685, then you don't need these, since 685 has a built-in receiver. These works great with any other flash that has TTL. I have a Nikon sb600 on one, and a sunpak 3600u on another, and I am able to trigger them using the 622TX. I did not have the money to spend on the pocketwizards, so I thought of going for this as a great alternate solution, as you can easily control pretty much all functions of all the flashes from the 622TX console.
