A: This is meant for analyzing film negative and transparency directly usually with a quality loupe. You could use this to illuminate said film to be shot by another camera. If color, do a white balance, a tripod and you are good to go.

A: The table top can be removed but I would not classify it as easy. The table top is secured with 4 screws. It was not designed to be repeatedly detached and attached. Doing so could damage the taps and cause the table to be unstable.

A: A 250 watt modeling light is fine. It is not designed for higher and should not be used with a 500 watt modeling lamp.Note, with any softbox one should keep an eye on it for safety when using a quartz modeling lamp.Quartz modeling lamps higher than 250 watts the Duo version of the softbox should be used.
