Q: 1. Just bought thusvtripod and impressed with the solid feel of it. Haven't put it to use yet other than put my big lens on it with a jobu head. Just wondering if any of the lenscoat leg protectors will fit and which ones? Thanks.

A: Lenscoat does not make a leg protector for this tripod.

Q: 2. Does a leg turn into a monopod?

A: The Benro TMA47AXL tripod legs do not have a monopod feature.

Q: 3. Can the center column be inverted to mount the camera under the tripod?

A: Yes, the center column on this tripod can be inverted to mount the camera below.

Q: 4. What adapter would one use to mount their camera to this for an overhead shot?

A: You can use a ball head or similar tripod head.

Q: 5. Is 70.5" the maximum height with the center column extended?

A: Yes it is 70.5 inches with the column or 58.9 inches without.

Q: 6. What is it with the US tag in the part number? Is it strictly reserved for US residents? I'm from Canada and would like to buy one of these someday.

A: From Ubiquiti's community website...The reason why there are two versions (other brands other versions as well), because in the US, they do not allow devices which are capable of operating outside the US Regulatory domain by the FCC. In terms of the difference or a super-set, the US Version is basically a World Version restricted to operate within the US Regulatory domain. In terms of a product purchase, if you were purchasing from a US seller, you can only get the US version since they are allowed to sell this version. There are some sellers in the US which do sell the World Version, however they can only ship it to addresses outside of the US. If you were purchasing from outside the US, they will have World Versions (ie. Canada).

Q: 7. Will a Benro S4 video head work with this tripod? A Benro B0 head?

A: As long as either head supports standard mounting screw sizes of 1/4 or 3/8 , then yes.

Q: 8. Hi everyone, someone commented here that tripod base diameter is 56mm,is it so? Can someone confirm this please? Also do you reckon SiruiK-10x Ball Head will fit on top of this tripod? Thank you

A: A 56mm diameter sounds about right. The Sirui K-10x Ball Head will fit without issue on this tripod.

Q: 9. Has anyone upgraded from the previous non-AC LR units? Are the mounts the same or do you need to redrill the wall?

A: The mount plates are indeed different for the UAP-LR and UAP-AC-LR. Of note, the UAP-AC-LR access points are 25 mm (0.98 inches) smaller than the older UAP-LR access points.

Q: 10. Can you attach an gimble head to this tripod?

A: As the Benro TMA37AL Long Series 3 Mach3 Aluminum Tripod has a 3/8"-16 male tripod thread on the top of the center column, yes, you may connect a gimbal that has a 3/8"-16 female threaded socket on the base of the gimbal head onto this tripod.
