Q: 1. Could I also carry a 13 laptop in here along with a DSLR and lenses?

A: I finally found this backpack. It does not have a computer slot though I did test my 13 laptop in the large lens compartment side without lenses in the pack. With an ultra slim hard case it is possibility that it could fit.Hope this helps-

Q: 2. Will this bag hold a Z9 with 500PF attached with room for a Z100-400 also?

A: No the bag does not have the interior height to hold a gripped camera body like the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 3. Will this bag hold a Canon 70D or similar camera with a battery grip attached? The current bag I have is too small and I must constantly remove it when packing my gear. I would like to leave it on for quick use if possible.

A: my 7D with the battery grip installed doesn't really fit in the bag.

Q: 4. I am requiring adapters for my Panasonic DVC Pro HD P2 mini-dvd camera to my 21.5 inch iMac which has lightening ports. My Wirefire cable is marked 1394 (which should be a 400. I've purchased a Thunderbolt 2 adapter what more do you reccomend to make the connection?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot recommend daisy chaining through multiple adapters and generations of cabling. We are unable to guarantee it would work.

Q: 5. Will this allow the Seagate HDD//8TB to connect to my 2012 macbook pro?

A: This adapter is currently thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2/1 connection only and is mainly used on PC to connect older thunderbolt hard drives. No macs currently support thunderbolt 3. I managed to create a 10Gb network connection between a PC and a Mac Pro using this adapter.

Q: 6. I have a thunderbolt black magic intensity game capture, will this convert the original thunderbolt up to a usb type c so then i can use it on my Asus ROG?

A: Providing your Asus ROG has Thunderbolt 3 included in its USB-C specification, this adapter will work with standard Thunderbolt, and Thunderbolt 2 devices.

Q: 7. will this make my new 2015 macbook work with a thunderbolt display?

A: Unfortunately, it is still not supported.

Q: 8. can i use it to connect my antalope orion+ (thunderbolt) to usb c port on my asus motherboard?

A: This would fully depend on the Asus Motherboard. Note that not all USB-C ports support Thunderbolt 3. If yours does, this StarTech Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt Adapter will be compatible.

Q: 9. Can this be used to connect an HP ZBook with Thunderbolt 3 to a Sony Beta J-30SDI player? There would be 3 adapters: Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt to Firewire 800 (9 pin), then Firewire 800 to Firewire 400 (6-pin).

A: I haven't connected a PC to a Sony VTR since the BVU models were prevalent, however I have used the TBT3 to attach 1394a & b audio interfaces to a Thinkpad P70 instead of ZBook G3. The FW inferfaces are Apple-centric with the LSI(Agere) chip, one being the Apple TB-FW inline adapter and the other is in an OWC Thunberbolt 2 dock. I've run them one at a time off of the TBT3 as well as daisy-chaining the Apple adapter to the OWC. The daisy chain setup successfully records simultaneously from an RME FF800 and FF802.

Q: 10. Is the main compartment 2 zippers where you can access just the top part to get to your camera or one zipper that you have to unzip the whole panel to get to it at the top?

A: The lid has 2 zippers for its' 2 small compartments. The lid itself is opened by two zippers, (one on each side - 1 zipper would be a pain to deal with), to access all your camera(s) and lenses at one go. It is a great bag for the price.
