Q: 2. As far as i understand from current pdf spec's sheet from datavideo this unit doesn't have software audio mixer? I.e. i can assign sound channel from any sdi or hdmi input to any output but cannot mix different sources (for example XLR + SDI2) to one output? Maybe there is a changes connected with a new firmware or software?

A: The main idea with SE-1200 is to use an external audio mixer then connect it to the XLR inputs of SE-1200. If you would like to also mix a camera audio input with the other audio, then you could use a Datavideo audio de-embedder (DAC-90) which will extract the audio from the SDI then allow you to connect it to an external audio mixer. If you only need 4 inputs instead of 6, you may want to consider the SE-650. It does have a built in audio mixer which would allow you to control audio levels on an embedded audio signal from HDMI or SDI camera input. The price is lower and you don't need a control surface since it's built into the switcher.Craig

Q: 3. Can I use this to capture HD from and HD camera and stream it out of the computer it is running into via Adobe Flash encoder? I would need to do this real time.

A: The Pinnacle Dazzle adapter only has analog Composite Video and S-Video inputs. These signals are always standard definition and can not carry a high definition resolution. Additionally, a USB 2.0 port does not have the bandwidth to capture uncompressed HD video. If you have a USB 3.0 port and a camera that outputs an HD signal via an HDMI output, you can use a HDMI to USB 3.0 adapter such as the B&H # IN4K2USB3.

A: If you wish to train a camera on a clock face, you can certainly pull up that camera and put that into your main view if you wish.

A: Sorry, this software cannot do that. Also we are not aware of any software that can. Basically, whenever you stop, the available software will start again with another clip.
