A: i wonder the same thing. if you have a 1/8 sennheiser locking cable to XLR, why won't it work ?

A: Neither. The switch is a low cut filter. If a AA battery is inside of the microphone, you do not need phantom power. If there is no battery inside, then you need phantom power.

A: Hi, theres a headphone out. But with my unit it sounds kind of crappy. I read online that the headphone out is soft. So I just trust it is working fine. And of course it is fine on the computer.

A: The device autorecords audio at two levels automatically. So you can pick which file to use after. I guess it somewhat eliminates the need for level control (as long as it's recording).
