The white Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Microphone with Reduced Sensitivity and Non-Servo TA5F Connector for Lectrosonics Transmitters is a subminiature lav microphone designed to deliver clear, full-bodied sound and reliable performance, making it a popular choice among industry professionals in broadcast, TV, theater, film, videography, and more.
Engineered to meet the standards of modern digital wireless microphone systems, the COS-11D is RF shielded to eliminate interference issues and ensure a pristine audio signal. The microphone capsule features a rectangular design that sits vertically, increasing the surface area and allowing this tiny mic to offer a rich, full sound that outperforms many larger models.
The mic's 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response rolls-off extreme low end and provides accurate, transparent audio reproduction with a small presence boost in the 6 kHz area for crisp, intelligible speech. With a forgiving omnidirectional polar pattern that picks up sound in a 360° pattern, levels stay consistent, even when the subject turns away from the mic.
A water-resistant mesh screen protects against humidity, perspiration, makeup, bad weather, and other potential on-location issues, while the durable cable is also moisture-resistant and built to stay soft and pliable, even after extended use. This version of the COS-11D terminates in a TA5F connector and is wired for use with non-servo-bias Lectrosonics transmitters. Accessories are available separately and are not included with this configuration of the microphone.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Is it possible to connect multiple receivers to the same transmitters (ie. using this system to hop an audio mix to multiple cameras)?
A: This is not a suggested usage of this digital wireless system.
Q: 2. Can these units be charged while in use?
A: Yes, the Wireless GO II system can be used while it is charging via USB.
Q: 3. How do u connect to iphone wirelessly?
A: u need two items to connect to a phone depending on what type phone you have your going to need lighting if iphone or type c if android or apple ipad links below https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1048151-REG/rode_sc4_trs_to_trrs_adaptor.html?sts=pi&pim=Y https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442282-REG/apple_mu7e2am_a_usb_c_to_3_5_mm.html?sts=pi&pim=Y https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1280795-REG/apple_mmx62am_a_lightning_to_3_5mm_headphone.html?sts=pi&pim=Y
Q: 4. How come B&H is literally the only place that is reporting 32-bit float recording. Are you 100% sure about this? It's not even mentioned on the Rode website, yet you would think it would be a flagship feature...
A: The Wireless Go II does not record 32-bit float files directly to the transmitters. With the free Rode Central app, the Wireless Go II has the ability to capture up to seven hours of uncompressed 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV audio or 24 hours of compressed audio directly to each transmitter without the need for an SD card. The Central app provides access to the recording features and also enables exporting and optimization of the recorded files from each transmitter so you can save them to a computer. The recorded files can be saved in various formats such as MP3 or WAV and in 16-, 24-, or 32-bit float.
Q: 5. Is this system true diversity?
A: No
Q: 6. Will this mic work with a DJI OSMO ACTION (not an Action 2) ?
A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System's receiver can send signal into the DJI Osmo Action 4K Camera's USB Type-C connection when the DJI CYNOVA Osmo Action Dual 3.5mm/USB-C Adapter (BH #DJOAD35) is also implemented for 3.5mm connection: https://bhpho.to/3Ea0Xym
Q: 7. One of my transmitters won't pair anyone else had this problem
A: It is possible for one of the transmitters to unpair from the receiver. If this happens, follow these steps as provide by Rode to attempt a re-sync: "If you need to reconnect a transmitter to the receiver, press and hold the pair button (‘∞‘) on the receiver for three seconds to enable pairing mode, then single-click the power button on the transmitter and wait a few seconds." If the problem persists, please reach out to Rode at (562) 364-7400.
Q: 8. Will the transmitter work with the Rode VideoMic Pro Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone?
A: Yes, the transmitters in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System can accept signal from the Rode VideoMic Pro Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone and transmit it wirelessly.
Q: 9. Are the gain changes made in the receiver or in the transmitter? If I set the gain lower, will it reduce the gain on the receiver's internal recording, too? Also, is the second channel internal safety track done as an analog reduction in the transmitter, or as a digital reduction in the receiver?
A: There is a gain control on the receiver which provides a three-stage pad to cut your output level in 12 dB increments. A single click of the gain control button allows you to select between high (0 dB), medium (-12 dB), and low (-24 dB) gain settings. The level icon in the middle of the screen indicates which gain setting is selected. An additional fine gain control mode can also be enabled in the Rode Central app which will expand the three-stage pad to a 10-stage pad, going from 0 dB to -30 dB in 3 dB increments. This allows you to precisely tailor the output level going to your recording device. It also provides access to an extra 6 dB of gain reduction, which is handy if you are using a recording device with high sensitivity. Be aware that the gain control only affects the 3.5mm output of the Wireless GO II, not the digital USB-C output. If you are using the Wireless GO II with a smartphone or computer and need to adjust the gain, you can do so in the app or recording software that you are using. The safety channel can only be activated in 'Merged' recording mode which combines the output of the two transmitter channels into a single summed output. When using the safety channel, you will have two channels of identical audio with the volume level on the safety channel reduced by 20 dB, preventing overload that could create distortion.
Q: 10. Can these be use a single person video shot
A: Yes you can use just 1 transmitter with the receiver in the Rode Go II to capture 1 person talking.
