Q: 3. Can you recommend a 5000K Bulb (LED) that works with a regular desk lamp?

A: The Fiilex V70 LED Color Viewing Lamp has adjustable color temperature settings of 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K. If you want a 5000K light for a standard lamp the LED bulbs are either 4800 or 5400k. If you need exactly 5000 you can use this fluorescent: https://bhpho.to/3rc1vwx

Q: 4. What accessories do I need to mount my camera to the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi GoTo AZ Mount?

A: az-GTi carries a Vixen dovetail. So any option that connects to the saddle and provides a 1/4 bolt can be used. there is many options like L-Brackets, or dovetail and 1/4 bolts, you can attach a ballhead on a dovetail. Q: 7. Can I use this mount with Orion MAK 127, Orion Apex 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope , it weighs 9 pounds

A: Yes as long as the OTA has a Vixen Style Mount, which I assume so. The Mount has an 11-pound Payload Capacity, so weight will work for that OTA.

Q: 8. Does this lamp fold up for storage?

A: The Ilford ILFOLUX Color Viewing Lamp does not fold for storage.

Q: 9. My prints are 17 x 23 inches. Will a single light give consistent coverage or do I need two lights to cover an area that size?

Bright, even light with a very wide beam. Head stays where it is put.

I am in charge of matching cabinetry color sample blocks. We did not want to splurge on a full "color matching cabinet" - (that lightbox that you see at fashion companies). This was the only alternative that included the D6500 bulb - the standard bulb for color matching. This item is expensive - but less expensive than any other set up including a D6500 bulb (that I was personally able to find). Very well made item, diffuser is my favorite feature.

This light is perfect for proofing my smaller work. And, it's considerably less expensive than the booth options. I especially like the easy-to-use different temperature settings. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

Does-the-job and easy-to-use desk lamp. I use it both for checking photo prints and to do homeschooling with the kids. I wonder if the 6500k mode can be used as light therapy as well ;)

A handy lamp for checking color rendering under 4 different lighting (+ possibility of dimming). Retains the last setting used and parameter switching is fast and easy.

I am a photo retoucher and needed an affordable, travel friendly light for color matching. This light does the trick. I like being able to transport this to a client's location if needed.

I quite like this lamp for looking at small prints for color correction. I tend to print on cloudy days or at night and love the fact that the lamp can be set to D50 (5000K) or D65 (6500K) color temperature , and I usually use D50 and set my Eizo monitor to D50 also, and use an ICC workflow for my Epson P600 or my HP Z9+ 44 large format printer. Prints are incredibly close to the on screen image when viewed under the lamp. The illumination area is a bit small, but adequate for small prints, and test strip prints from the large format printer. So I decided to also get a Fiilex V360 lamp for my layout table, which is a lot brighter and even more flexible in color tuning, and good for evaluating larger prints.

I use this lamp to color match photo tests. Totally doors the trick plus the ability to tap through different temperatures allows you to consider metamorization if final presentation conditions are unknown. The spread is good enough for me. I just move there lamp or the print of it's a large image.

Replaced my 8-year old Solux Halogen Task lamp with the V70 LED Fiilex. Great light quality, easy to control temperature and intensity. Beautiful design and stable. Comes with a nice magnetically attached dome diffuser. The diffuser is best used for overhead use or in separate viewing area. If lamp is at eye level in your work area, you will want to use without the diffuser. I use this lamp near my color-balanced monitor for both task lighting and viewing prints. Easy to adjust to 3,000K, 4,000K, 5,000K or 6,500K.
