The Duo LCD Battery Charger II from Watson charges 1 or 2 batteries of various types via dedicated interchangeable plates, which are required and available separately. The Duo Charger can simultaneously charge 2 different battery types with different voltages. It runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for use all over the world. The charger also features a USB 2.0 port for charging another device simultaneously. The LCD screen provides a digital read-out of each battery's charge percentage while charging and can also show a battery's charge status via the battery test button, even when the charger is unplugged. Integrated detection circuits protect batteries from overheating while charging by automatically stopping the charging process, and also guard against dangers such as defective batteries or short circuits. The Duo includes a power cord with a 2-prong US plug, as well as a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter.

This is awesome! This allows you to check the power level of your batteries even if it is not plugged in! It gives you a read out of the battery life percentage! Not to mention that it charges my batteries really fast! I keep this in my bag sometimes just to keep track of how much power I have left in my batteries. Well worth your money. it will save you a lot of time!

I have two of these, one for the studio and one for my travel kit. In my experience, and my first one is years old, these have worked great, never an issue with them and the % readout is especially useful as well as the option of charging different types of batteries. Even if youre a Nikon shooter, being able to charge two at once had been productive. I have also used them with an OLY, Sony and Lumix charge plates and never an issue.

I bought two of these units along with several other battery style charging plates and put all the others OEM chargers into their boxes! Better feedback on charging status, charges 2 batteries at the same time, fewer cords, all wins!

Simply plug up the batteries, plug up the charger and this unit takes care of the rest. Great buy.

Because I needed to charge Nikon EN-EL 15b batteries for a Nikon D780, I purchased the Watson Duo DX-3410 NOT the Watson D-3410. The Watson packaging for the DX-3410 specifically identifies the Nikon EN-EL 15 battery; the Nikon EN-EL 15a battery; and the Nikon EN-EL 15b battery as compatible. Thus far, the charger has done the trick and powered-up my EN-EL15b batteries - no problem. Based on my experience, I would purchase again.
