A: Yes, the Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver (UC90: 941 to 960 MHz) is compatible for use with the Sony UTX-P40 Wireless Plug-On Transmitter (UC90: 941 to 960 MHz).
Q: 2. I am interested in purchasing this wireless microphone but am unsure what frequency to purchase. I live in Los Angeles, is there a preferred frequency for my region of the USA?
A: Because the Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver offers the ability to auto-scan it's 2,772 potential frequencies, it should allow you to find an open channel in virtually all areas in any of the three available bands. Frequency availability across bands could also change depending on your location within the greater Los Angeles area. In general, it appears that the UC14: 470 to 542 MHz band may offer the most access to open channels in Los Angeles out of the three available frequency bands.
Q: 3. will it work with UTX B03 mics? Or the mic transmitter utxPO3?
A: The Sony URX P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver is compatible with UTX B03, UTX P03, or UTX M03 transmitters. Just make sure the frequency range of the transmitter matches the receiver.
