The CS-Mount 2.8-9mm Varifocal Lens from Samsung features a 3MP 1/2.8" CCD sensor to capture high-quality video. The lens has a wide f/1.2 aperture for brighter video and images. This P-iris lens has an auto iris function driven by a stepping motor. The lens is aimed at sharp, crisp images and exposure accuracy under even adverse lighting conditions. The iris auto-close function protects imagers and optical filters from extreme highlights when the power is off.

A: The only thing you may want to consider is the ease of use with this lens if you were to use other micro 4/3 cameras in the future; otherwise, there aren't really any cons to getting this lens if you plan to use it with a speed booster.

A: The length is 32mm and the diameter of the knob is 25mm.

A: All Samyang lenses are manual focus lenses. While the Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS Lens (Sony E Mount) will mount directly onto the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Camera, you would have to focus the lens manually when used on your camera.

A: Small filters weigh very little. It will work fine, without upsetting the balance. Adding the filter may use a miniscule amount of battery power.
