The Shure BLX2/PG58 is a handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with BLX Series receivers. It comes equipped with an integrated PG58 dynamic capsule optimized for vocals and speech. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback. The built-in spherical wind and pop filter reduces plosives for clear and intelligible speech.

With a lightweight, ergonomic design, the BLX2/PG58 is comfortable to hold. It provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with the two included AA batteries, at a range up to 300'. Group and channel selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver.

Other features include an easily accessible on/off power button, adjustable gain control, and a black identification cap. The WA621 Color ID Caps kit containing assorted colored caps is available as an optional accessory.
