The Came-TV DSLR Shoulder Support for 15mm LWS Rod System Provides comfort and support when using a shoulder rig that uses 15mm LWS rods. This shoulder supports slides onto your support rig and features a two-piece shoulder pad that rests on the front and back of your shoulder, preventing the hard metal rods of the rig from pressing down on your shoulder.

A: The pin on the CAME-TV is reported to be 5/8 and the Steadicam Steadimate is 1/2 so it cannot fit directly.

A: Two considerations here. 1. Since the tube that interfaces the arm to the rig is not a standard, it depends what the two diameters are. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's do not list this information. 2. You need keep the HD4000 and camera set up to 5.5 lbs or over in order for the arm to work. If you are not aware, there is a large Steadicam community out there. There are forums that are available to you that probably have user experience in this combination.

Q: 3. Does anyone know the dimensions of this vest/dual arms? I want to know if this would fit in a pelican 1510 or 1560 case. Came-TV doesn't seem to sell the case separately, and Pelican would be a nice substitute. Thanks.

A: The load limits of this arm are listed by CAME-TV as 2.5-15 kg / 5.5- 33 lbs.

A: CAME-TV does not list the 3rd Party Gimbals that this Vest & Dual-Arm Support System is compatible with. However others have had success using this product with the Steadicam Solo, so it should be possible to use it with other sleds like the Pilot and Aero.
