A: This issue should not happen with this specific bag. I have heard that issue on other models. but with different colors. I do not think you will have this issue.

A: It is the material the bag is made of. The Domke F-3X Balliastic Shoulder Bag (Black) is made of canvas and nylon. The regular F3x is made of canvas and cotton. The Ballastic canvas and nylon bag tends to be stronger, sturdier and more durable.

A: There is foam only in the bottom of the bag. What this bag is about is functional access and light weight, I have used these bags for years always with hog end kit, and have never had any damaged equipment. This is the bag that made Domkes reputation. Canvas is better than nylon. Buy it for a full size slr with either 2 spare lens or 1 lens plus flash,you wont regret it. Extra front pocket for batteries etc also zipped pocket in flap.

A: I do not have an iPad but do have a tablet with a case. The dimensions are: 5x8x1 . That does fit in the back outside pocket snuggly. For the front pocket, there is more room. P.S. I love the bag.

Q: 7. I have many camera bags by a lot of manufacturers but it has been years since I used Domke. I have pretty bad arthritis in my fingers and was wondering if the metal closing clasp has been reworked to make it easier to open?

A: Elliot, the same closing clasp is still on it, you have to pinch it firmly, I still thing the Domke bag overall is the best brand. Maybe you can use both hands opening it. Better yet do like me, I never close that clasp, unless I am traveling. I have this exact bag. Love it.

A: Domke F-3X Shoulder Bag internal dimensions are 9 x 8.5 x 5.5". Most 300mm prime lenses are longer than 8.5''. Please messure your 300mm lens and verify with this dimensions.

A: 9 inches high when measured on the out side; may 8.5 on the inside diluento padding on the bottom. The width, front to back, is 5.5. The side to side measurement is closer to 11 inches. For me, I should have purchase it years ago. I have a Olympus OM-2n, 50 and 35 primes and. 5.5 inch long zoom. MUSC in on pocket and a Panasonic DXC something in the other. Still room for flash or another body. Great purchase forr me to carry gear to a shoot and then tweak it for what I want to work with. Hangs nice and confirms to the body of not stuffed to the gills. The top flap allows for expanding the height. The buckle allows this. I really like the military grade canvas. Good luck on your decision.

Q: 10. I need a bag to handle my D700 w/grip, 20 35 2.8 50 1.4 and a 70 210D lens plus a flash and acc. I don't have a camera store to go to and try out bags, I have to do a pig in a polk if it doesn't work I'm stuck or send it back.I'm currently using a 20 year old Domke F3X but not all will fit! is this, I can cram it all in but I have to remove many items to get where I want. I started using this bag back in the 90's in film, with digital over the years I use this and then it won't work just right and I try something else.I really like Domke. but I don't have the luxury of trying one out first?Why don't camera bag makers say what they will hold not just the measurements.

A: The Domke F-3X is not going to fit your gear. Unfortunately, it does not appear that any Domke bags will be able to accommodate this amount of equipment.
