A: Yes this would be a better choice that would fit the C300 mk III's slightly larger screen. The C300 the Hoodman model is made for fits only 4" screens. Not 4.3" of the C300 Mk III.

Since the Wooden Camera shade is a little small and we are unable to test the combination we can only give our opinion that it will work. However, it may not be perfect. B&H does have a 30 day return. Looking at the others shades B&H sells, here is one that has a tad better chance of working since it is 7.25 x 5.25 x 7 (18.4 x 13.3 x 17.8 cm).
