Q: 2. Will it record 24-bit/48 kHz Resolution ?

A: Yes, the L-12 is capable of recording at 48kHz/24-bit.

Q: 3. Can the XLR Master Out, the 1/4" Master Out, and headphone outs send a mono signal?

A: Yes, as long as you are using mono signals, you can have dual mono output for the left and right master outputs, and for the headphone output on the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer and Multitrack Recorder.

Q: 4. Can this mixer Automix?

A: No, the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer & Multitrack Recorder does not have an automix feature.

Q: 5. Will this power PA speakers for event use?

A: This is a mixer/recorder its not a amplifier so it will not be able to provide power to PA speakers. All it can do is send the signal from the board to the speakers to play, however the speakers need their own power or a additional amplifier.

Q: 6. If I am using this as a multitrack audio interface on a computer, can I also record to an SD card?

A: When set to Audio Interface Mode, the L12 will send multitrack audio to a computer while recording to an SD card.

Q: 8. Greetings, I am a location sound mixer and I am building my cart, which will be separate from my audio bag. I primarily record narrative features, but will be doing some live event work soon (stand-up comedy & music). My question is: would the L-12 work well as the heartbeat of my cart? As the mixer/recorder and with the headphone outs, can this be used as adequate IFB for video village? And, finally does the L-12 generate timecode?

A: This has five headphone outputs that can each have it's own individual mix, so throretically it can be used for IFB. It will not do timecode. Other than that it works like any other digital mixer.

Q: 9. Can you pad the master output signal down to mic level?

A: Yes, you can pad the master output signal from the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer & Multitrack Recorder by using an attenuator like the Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Switchable Input Attenuator XLR Barrel (B&H # HOATT448) and setting the attenuation level for -30 or -40 dB to reduce the line level signal to mic level. The ATT-448 can be used on each of the XLR outputs with XLR cables.

Q: 10. Can it work with 220 voltage?

A: The Zoom LiveTrak L-12 - 12-Channel Digital Mixer & Multitrack Recorder is 110V only.
