The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired TA5F Connector for Lectrosonics Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a TA5F connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonics IM, LM, UM100, UM190, UM190b, UM195b, UM200, UM200b, UM200c, UM250b, UM250c, or UM400 wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can these mics be used with a Canon XA-20 or a Canon HF-G30? Are there different adapters needed for each?

A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II Microphone System can be used with the Canon XA20 and Canon HF-G30 Cameras. The Wireless GO II comes with a 3.5mm TRS male to 3.5mm TRS male cable that can be used to connect the receiver directly to the 3.5mm mic input on the HF-G30. Since the XA20 has XLR inputs, you can use a cable like the Kopul Stereo Right-Angle 1/8" Male Mini-Jack to XLR Male Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KORSMXM015).

Q: 2. Can i use this system with Tram TR-50 or Sanken lav?

A: Third party lavalier compatibility with the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder is a case by case scenario. This is due to the Rode system using a "Sennheiser" wiring configuration with a non-locking input connection. Many microphones wired for Sennheiser can be used with this system if the physical locking mechanisms on the microphone connector can move far enough out of the way to allow a full connection with the input on the Rode transmitters. The Sanken COS-11D and TRAM TR-50 are not fully confirmed as compatible with the Rode Wireless GO II system.

Q: 3. Is there the ability to connect audio to an XLR input?

A: With the proper cables or adapters, it can. To record both channels, you may want to get a 3.5mm Mini to dual XLR, such as HOHMX003Y

Q: 4. Does the Rode Wireless Go II transmit the audio between the transmitter and the receiver in 24bit or 32bit?

A: The Rode Wireless Go II performs A/D conversion at 24-bit resolution, and 24-bit audio is transmitted to the receiver.

Q: 5. SINCE I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE MERGED MODE .THE MERGING ISNT POSSIBLE IN MY UNIT.IS ANYBODY HAS THE SAME?

A: Please contact us: askbh@bandh.com

Q: 6. Does the receiver have a mic to record scratch audio? Or is the transmitter the only part that has a mic?

A: No, the Rode Wireless GO II receiver does not have a built-in microphone. The transmitter has a built-in microphone as well as an input to connect an external mic like a lavalier or headset style mic.

Q: 7. Will it work with Canon R5?

A: Yes, the Rode wireless go II system will connect via 3.5mm jack to the Canon R5 system.

Q: 8. Is there an adaptor available to convert a sennheiser lav with screw locking system to standard 3.5mm trs connection for use with this Rode Wireless GO II?

A: The RODE representative listed the "Sennheiser CL 35 TRS" Cable as a solution, but that has two Male ends so it would only work if you also bought an adapter that has 3.5mm Locking Female Receptacles on both ends. To accomplish the task with just one adapter, you would need a 3.5mm Locking Female Adapter to 3.5mm Male Non-Locking. There are a couple of these listed on Bay, but they look rather cheap. I have not found a professional quality solution.

Q: 9. Are these wireless go mic's good with the Canon EOS rebel T7?

A: Because the Canon EOS Rebel T7 does not have a microphone input, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder is not able to connect and send audio into it. The Rebel T7i has the appropriate and necessary input.

Q: 10. Will this work during an instagram live?

A: Yes, the Wireless GO II can be used for Instagram Live and for most audio-with-video applications.
